Best Dublin Racing Festival Each-Way Bets: The Panel's Picks For Leopardstown

This weekend, Leopardstown hosts the Dublin Racing Festival, which is spread across Saturday and Sunday.
As good as it gets when it comes to Irish racing, eight Grade 1s are up for grabs, and there will also be a number of Cheltenham hopefuls having their final prep before the festival.
Willie Mullins won all eight top-level races last year, and it would be no surprise to see the champion trainer repeat the feat.
As a result of Mullins' dominance, betting sites have short-priced favourites for the majority of races.
For those looking for more value from their wagers, The Panel have picked out three big-priced runners that they think could be good each-way bets.

Saturday 14:25 Leopardstown: Backmersackme 0.5pts Each-Way
We don't have to wait long for the first selection of the weekend.
The third race on the card is a three-mile handicap hurdle, and with 26 runners set to line up, it won't be for the faint-hearted.
One good thing about having such a big field is that most horse racing betting sites will be paying out to five places.
This is a major plus for each-way punters.
Backing a horse that was sent off at 50/1 in his last race may seem strange to some, but there was a lot to like about Backmersackme's performance at Navan.
His trainer, Emmet Mullins, reached for a tongue tie in the hope that it would see an upturn in form, and it certainly did, as he was beaten by just a short head.
Mullins is known for having the ability to slowly improve young horses and is also adept at landing gambles in handicap races such as this.
Backmersackme is currently 12/1 with William Hill, who are paying out to five places at 1/5 of the odds.
Sunday 12:40 Leopardstown: Savante 0.5pts Each-Way
Another big field will go to post in the Mares Handicap Hurdle on Sunday.
Twenty runners are due to line up, and the majority of betting apps are again paying out to five places.
The Panel's selection in a race that is sure to be full of drama is Savante who can be backed at 12/1 with Ladbrokes.
This price could prove to be generous if Colm Murphy's mare can show her best form.
Having won her maiden hurdle in October, she was out of her depth when thrown into Grade 3 company next time out.
She made her first step into handicap company last time but was brought down at the second last hurdle.
She was staying on really well that day, and would surely have gone close if she had stayed on her feet.
The hope is that she can stay out of danger in the big field and use her stamina to reel in the leaders late on to grab a place at the very least.
Sunday 15:50 Leopardstown: Strutter 0.5pts Each-Way
Despite being the biggest price of our three each-way selections, Strutter is the one we have the most confidence in.
Formerly trained by Nicky Henderson, the six-year-old could hardly have been more impressive on his debut for Willie Mullins over Christmas.
He easily won that race at Limerick, showing the improvement Mullins has already made in him.
Given his age, his trainer can still find more improvement, and hopefully, that will be seen here.
He sneaks into the race off bottom weight, and he is a great each-way bet at 16/1 with William Hill.
