Irish Racing Best Bets: Three Tips For The Weekend Action

The Dublin Racing Festival provided plenty of Cheltenham clues last weekend, and although the action may not be as talent-laden, there are still some competitive races this Saturday and Sunday.
Some talented young hurdlers will continue their burgeoning careers at Naas on Saturday, but it is Sunday's racing at Navan that takes centre stage.
Two Grade Two races are on offer, including the Boyne Hurdle in which a former Cheltenham Gold Cup winner will be in action.
The Panel have studied both cards and put forward three of the best bets to have with betting sites across the two days.
Irish Racing Best Bets
- The Panel Pick 1: Saturday 15:05 Naas: Ragmans Corner - 0.5pts Each-Way - 5/1 With Boylesports
- The Panel Pick 2: Saturday 16:50 Naas: Big Interest - 1pt Win - 2/1 With William Hill
- The Panel Pick 3: Sunday 14:40 Navan: Thedevilscoachman 1pt Win - 9/4 With William Hill
Saturday 15:05 Naas: Ragmans Corner 0.5pts Each-Way
Ragmans Corner is a solid each-way choice in the two-mile handicap hurdle, particularly with Boylesports paying out to four places.
One of the most improved horses in training, Gerard Keane's 6yo started the season on a mark of 91 but is now rated 115.
He won in a canter at Punchestown last time. The handicapper has given him a 12lb rise, but that may not be enough to stop his progress.
There are many dangers in what is a competitive race, with Well Dressed and Doctor Churchill being the picks.

Saturday 16:50 Naas: Big Interest 1pt Win
Having a bet on a Hunters Chase may be slightly unusual, but Big Interest cannot be ignored at the prices being offered by the best horse racing betting sites.
A Point-to-Point winner last year, he was very impressive in winning on his first racetrack appearance over Christmas.
On that occasion, he got the better of two-time Cheltenham Festival runner-up, It's On The Line, and that rival will reoppose here.
He will strip fitter for that run, but Big Interest was giving away 5lbs on that occasion.
They are meeting on level weights here, so there is no obvious reason that It's On The Line will reverse the form.
Sunday 14:40 Navan: Thedevilscoachman 1pt Win
The Boyne Hurdle is one of the highest reputation races taking place in Ireland this weekend.
Won in the past by the likes of War Of Attrition and Tiger Roll, the Grade Two contest will see another former winner, Thedevilscoachman, look to win the race for a second time.
Gordon Elliott saddles three for the contest, but we are willing to take them on with the aforementioned favourite with betting apps.
Noel Meade's charge put in a fine effort on his return to action last month, and he is likely to improve for the run.
He has shown he likes it at this track and will have ground conditions to suit.
Former Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Minella Indo is respected, but the main danger could be Farren Glory now that he steps up in trip.
