- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villa - 6.50 with Betovo
- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 2: Everton 1-2 Tottenham - 8.50 with Betovo
Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League game.
In four seasons at Celtic, McClair made 471 appearances in all competitions and scored 127 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.
His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, McClair became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.
Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season and will pass expert judgement with his score predictions on all games whilst The Panel team will examine the best football betting sites to find the best odds should his predictions hit the back of the net.
Watch him discuss the games below and keep an eye on how Brian and The Panel get on each week throughout the season.
Arsenal Vs Aston Villa, Saturday 5.30pm
Arsenal continue their push for a first Premier League title since 2004 and go into the game with Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Gunners enter the weekend just four points behind the league leaders Liverpool, though Arne Slot’s side still have a game in hand.
There is renewed optimism for Mikel Arteta's team after a 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday following consecutive cup losses to Newcastle and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Villa have struggled to maintain consistency this season as they juggle domestic and European commitments.
However, they arrive at the Emirates Stadium on a high, having secured their third consecutive win at Everton on Wednesday.
Brian says: “Aston Villa kept a clean sheet for the first time since early December in their 1-0 win at Goodison on Wednesday evening.
"Although Arsenal were victorious in the north London derby on the same night, Mikel Arteta must have been frustrated with the chances his side spurned in that game.
"I think there will be goals in this one, but it could be another frustrating game for Arteta's side, who will just sneak it."
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villa - 6.50 with Betovo
Everton Vs Tottenham, Sunday, 2pm
Tottenham head to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, desperately seeking a victory after another defeat in midweek.
Although Spurs achieved encouraging results in both domestic cup competitions last week, their struggles in the league continue.
Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Arsenal made it six defeats in eight Premier League games, increasing the scrutiny on manager Ange Postecoglou.
Another loss, this time to an Everton side under the guidance of David Moyes who are without a win in six themselves, would only increase the noise around the Spurs boss.
Brian says: “There was no new manager bounce in David Moyes' first game in charge on Wednesday against Aston Villa and it's just one win in 11 and just one goal in five league games for the Toffees.
"As for Postecoglou, I don't know much about the chatter surrounding him, but I have the greatest sympathy with the injury problems he has.
"I fancy Spurs to get the win but Everton have to score at some point, surely?"
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 2: Everton 1-2 Tottenham - 8.50 with Betovo
