Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League game.

In four seasons at Celtic, McClair made 471 appearances in all competitions and scored 127 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.

His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, McClair became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.

Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season to pass expert judgement and give his score predictions for all of the games whilst The Panel examine the football betting sites to find the best odds.

Tottenham Vs Bournemouth, Sunday 2pm

On the back of a midweek Europa League trip to AZ Alkmaar, Tottenham return home to face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.

Their 1-0 home loss to Manchester City snapped a three-match winning streak in the league, and Spurs sit 13th in the table going into the weekend.

Bournemouth are now seventh in the table following a 2-1 loss to Brighton, a defeat that ended a eight-match unbeaten run on the road for the Cherries. 

Brian says: "Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraola felt his side were the better side, despite going down 2-1 to Brighton in their last Premier League outing.

"Spurs couldn't get a goal that their second-half performance deserved against Manchester City in their previous league outing, they dominated in all areas of the field, but couldn't take their chances.

"I don't expect that to be the case this week, however, against a Bournemouth team who look like they may have just run out of steam."

Man Utd Vs Arsenal, Sunday, 4.30pm

Arsenal know anything but a win will all-but end any Premier League title hopes when they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

A once promising season has been derailed somewhat and the Champions League is now their only realistic chance of glory.

United currently sit 14th in the table after drawing 2-2 at Everton in their last Premier League game before crashing out of the FA Cup on penalties to Fulham. 

Arsenal will want to avenge their FA Cup exit to the Red Devils back in January when the two meet in the league this weekend with the visitors clear favourites with betting apps. 

Brian says: "Arsenal failed to have a shot on target in the first-half against Nottingham Forest last-time-out and managed only two in total, something that has been a real problem for them in the league this season.

"Arsenal have failed to score in their last two Premier League games, and that's why they are 13 points behind leaders Liverpool.

"United have conceded in their last four league games, including a comedy goal against Ipswich, but I don't see them being as sloppy this weekend against the misfiring Gunners."
