- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Aston Villa 2-1 Nottingham Forest - 8.0 With Betovo
- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 2: Man Utd 2-1 Man City - 10.0 With Betovo
Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League game.
In four seasons at Celtic, McClair made 471 appearances in all competitions and scored 127 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.
His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, McClair became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.
Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season to pass expert judgement and give his score predictions for all of the games whilst The Panel examine the football betting sites to find the best odds.
Watch him discuss the games below and keep an eye on how Brian and The Panel get on each week throughout the season.
Aston Villa Vs Nottingham Forest, Saturday, 5.30pm
Aston Villa will host Nottingham Forest at Villa Park on Saturday with both sides very much eyeing Champions League qualification.
Forest currently sit third in the Premier League with 57 points, while Aston Villa are seventh with 48 points as fifth place looks increasingly likely to provide a pathway to next season’s competition.
Villa’s chances were given a massive boost after they secured a 3-0 victory over Brighton, while Forest’s 1-0 win against Manchester United means they still have a five-point cushion between themselves and Chelsea.
Brian says: “Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last eight home league games against Nottingham Forest with five wins and three draws.
"Meanwhile, having won earlier this season at the City Ground, Forest will be looking to complete their first league double over Villa since 1985.
"However, I think the historic advantage that Villa hold over Forest will continue in this fixture on Saturday night."

Man Utd Vs Man City, Sunday, 4.30pm
Looking to complete the season double over their Mancunian rivals, United hosts City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 defeat on Tuesday at Nottingham Forest, a loss that keeps United 13th in the league table with the Europa League their only chance of silverware this season.
Manchester City cruised to a 2-0 win over Leicester City on Wednesday which kept the defending champions within touching distance of fourth.
But with title ambitions now very much a distant memory for both sides, this will be all about local pride.
Brian says: “United have done particularly well in games they haven't been expected to win this season, and but for a bit more potency, could have come away from the game with Forest on Tuesday with at least a point.
"I hope Ruben Amorim realises the significance of this fixture, though he may well have one eye on the Europa League game against Lyon next week.
"City could well welcome Oscar Bobb back to the side with Haaland now unavailable through injury, but the way that United's season has been going, I can see them getting the points here."
