Love Island 2025: Blu Slight Favourite To Be Dumped Next

Love Island bosses inflicted a shock twist on the islanders on Thursday night's episode - and it was particularly bad news for two of the contestants.

Earlier in the week, fitness influencer Remell Mullins and semi-pro footballer Shea Mannings had arrived as bombshells on Wednesday night.

They headed into the villa a day after Sophie Lee had become the first islander of series 12 to be dumped, after Shakira Khan stole Harry Cooksley from her.

Shakira was forced to try to find a new connection with the season's first bombshell, Toni Laites - the first American to be a contestant on Love Island UK - took Ben Holbrough from her.

Sophie's exit was a huge escape for Shakira, who had been favourite on the best betting sites to go home after host Maya Jama told her she had 24 hours to find a connection, or pack her bags.

While Shakira was in a brand-new couple with Harry, she had a sneaky smooch with Blu Chegini in the hideaway.

Harry retaliated by stroking Helena Ford's leg, and the pair then snuck off to spend a night in the hideaway.

The day after, Harry and Helena got their wish and recoupled with each other, and Shakira and Ben - who were together on day one - did the same.

In the recoupling, Blu and newcomer Shea were left single - and there was a huge twist when a text revealed they had to decide between themselves which of them goes home.

After the message was read out, Blu immediately stated: "I ain't f**king leaving," and Shea said: "I ain't either."

There was a tense moment as the pair looked at one another, before the credits rolled.

A Blu Day

Despite his defiance, Blu is favourite to be feeling the bluer of the two in Friday night's episode - because he is the 10/11 frontrunner on betting apps to be dumped from the Island.

Love Island bosses may need to spend a fair bit of time editing Friday night's episode, because negotiations between Blu and Shea could go on for a while.

Neither seem to have much of a connection with any of the ladies, hence being left single.

Blu was with Alima, but she made it clear when the male bombshells arrived that she was very much in a friendship couple - and she's now moved on with Shea's pal Remell.

While Blu has only been in the villa a matter of days, he has been there since the start and tried, but clearly failed, to find a connection with Shakira, despite their kiss.

Shea, who is 11/10 to be dumped on Friday night, would no doubt argue that he hasn't been given as much time to find a connection in the villa, which could prove pivotal in their tense talks.

Tommy On Top

The bookmakers clearly don't know which way it will go either, because there isn't much separating Blu and Shea in the Top Man market.

Shea is just about propping things up at 14/1, while Blu is 12/1

At the other end of the market, Tommy Bradley is the 3/1 favourite with Betfred to win Love Island, from 7/2 earlier this week, and Dejon Noel-Williams has also seen his price cut.

He is into 7/2 with Unibet, after being a best price of 4/1 following Monday night's series launch episode.

Harry has been busy in the villa this week, but his antics haven't done much for his odds.

He remains a 6/1 shot for victory, but Ben has drifted massively to 10/1 from a best price of 4/1 earlier in the week.

That is despite the taxi driver making a repeat journey in the villa to reunite with Shakira.

Market Don't Lie For Shakira

While Ben is hurtling the wrong way down the market, his reunited partner Shakira is driving in the right direction in the Top Female race.

She has gone from 9/1 to a best price of 11/2 to triumph after surviving the first dumping of the season.

Elsewhere, Megan Forte Clarke has been cut to 11/4 to win this year's Love Island, from 3/1 earlier in the week.

Her main Top Woman competition remains her namesake - Meg Moore, who is into 7/2 second favourite from 9/2 earlier in the week.

Toni was installed as a 13/2 outsider when she first entered the villa, but it took a matter of minutes before she and Ben clashed and were driven apart.

While she now seems much happier with Conor Phillips, Toni has drifted to 10/1 to be this year's Top Woman.
