What Will Maura Higgins Do Next? I'm A Celebrity Star Tipped For Morning Role
Maura Higgins' stock recently rose off the back off her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! appearance.
The former Love Island star, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show, finished seventh in the Australian jungle-based show.
Following her entertaining couple of weeks Down Under, during which she had her campmates cracking up at her witty one-liners, there has been speculation on betting sites about what she might get up to next.
Maura's Morning Role
Maura has dabbled in TV presenting of late, most notably by becoming the host of Love Island USA spin-off show Aftersun, and she has even guest-hosted a couple of episodes of the main show across the pond.
Her recent jungle stint is said to have caught producers' attention, and she is expected to be inundated with further TV presenting offers.
An insider recently told The Sun: "Maura is definitely considering more presenting roles in the UK after making a big impression at ITV.
"Her success on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has caught the attention of top TV producers, who have started reaching out with potential opportunities. Nothing has been set in stone just yet, but calls are coming in thick and fast."
One show Maura knows a lot about is ITV brunchtime programme This Morning.
The Irish star has hosted an agony aunt section on the show, and she also fronted two-part series Maura's Ireland, in which she travelled around the Emerald Isle.
It's now Evens on betting apps that Maura signs up as a new This Morning presenter.

Maura On The Loose
If not This Morning, then ITV's slightly later daytime show, Loose Women, could hire Maura instead.
Following her I'm A Celebrity appearance, Maura was supposed to appear on Loose Women alongside her fellow jungle campmate and show panellist Jane Moore.
The pair were due to appear from Australia via video link, but Jane revealed Maura had fallen asleep instead.
Speaking live from Down Under, Jane told the Loose ladies: "I was really surprised that Maura went out today and she was with me earlier. She was going to come on here with me, but the poor lamb has fallen asleep.
"She just couldn't stay up any longer, it's like 10.30 here and obviously she came out of the jungle today, so she's very tired."

Despite this, Maura is just 13/8 to become a permanent Loose Women panellist, and she is 3/1 to land a brand deal with cosmetics brand MAC, who are said to be interested in working with her.
A source close to Maura recently told The Sun: "Beauty brands, fashion labels and TV execs in the UK and US are already queuing up to work with her. She's had some incredible offers."
Maura's Love Island Role?
If not, she could be in demand from Love Island UK bosses.
A recent story in The Sun on Sunday newspaper claimed Maura - who appeared on Love Island in 2019 - was being eyed as a possible replacement for presenter Maya Jama on the dating show, after next summer's series.
A TV source told the publication: "She has been building up her skills as a presenter and is very much part of the Love Island family. She also has the unique perspective of having appeared herself as a contestant.
"She’s just also had a successful stint on I’m A Celeb so the world is her oyster now."
However, Maya has denied such speculation, writing on Instagram: "I will be hosting Love Island next year and have no plans to leave right now. Filmed the promo a couple days ago, actually. Fake news is fake news-ing as usual."
Despite this, Maura is 2/1 to be the next Love Island presenter, and she's a massive 10/1 to appear on Love Island All Stars, should her rumoured romance with ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks end.
What's more, it's just 4/1 she follows in Pete's footsteps and heads onto the Strictly dancefloor next year, while she is 8/1 for a Celebrity Big Brother appearance.
