Michigan Online Casino BetRivers Announces Its Newest Lobby Additions for April

Wolverine State members of BetRivers Casino can kick off April with a new batch of slots. This operator announced its weekly game library expansion on social media platform X, revealing the lineup of new slots, which includes Wild Extravaganza, Crabbin’ Crazy 2 Crabbin’ Bonanza, Diamond Spins Cats, and Golden Knight Infinity.

The new games are sourced from a mix of software vendors. Two of the games qualify as exclusive titles, considering Diamond Spins Cats from IGT and Golden Knight Infinity from High 5 Games debuted at the end of March. The remaining titles are older releases, with Wild Extravaganza launched in 2021 by Spearhead Studios and Crabbin’ Crazy 2 from iSoftBet arriving on the iGaming scene in 2023.

Most games are not available at other Michigan casinos online at the time of writing, giving BetRivers a slight edge.

Diversity of Themes Arrives at BetRivers

Various themes inspire the newly added games, but they generally stick to a 5x3 layout, except Golden Knight Infinity, which uses a unique 3x4 layout. Players can enjoy a medieval theme, wild cats roaming the savannah, and a fishing expedition for crabs.

The only game lacking in imagination is Wild Extravaganza, which has a fruity theme but with rudimentary graphics. The other three games offer modern visuals and engaging gameplay. RTPs are consistent across all three slots, gravitating around 96%. Free spins bonus rounds are a standard special feature in all of the new games, and it's worth mentioning that Diamond Spins Cats offers a progressive jackpot.

Betting ranges are not uniform and typically move from $0.1 as the minimum and $200 as the maximum bet. Gaming on the go is available for each new game, and BetRivers Casino will likely make these slots eligible for an upcoming no deposit bonus Michigan

Uncertain Future in Michigan

BetRivers Casino managed to carve out a solid position in the Great Lakes State iGaming market, consistently ranking as the fourth-best operator according to revenue data among the 15 licensed competitors.

However, last week, a news report revealed that Rush Street Interactive, the parent company of BetRivers, might be considering selling its iGaming operations. According to industry rumors, DraftKings is the most likely candidate to purchase BetRivers. It’s worth pointing out that neither brand confirmed nor denied the initial news report floating the idea of a sale.

Although BetRivers Casino ranks high among operators in Michigan, its market share is relatively low, collecting $11 million in revenue for February, which is significantly lower than market leaders BetMGM and FanDuel, which reported revenues four to five times higher than BetRivers.

Despite the potential sale, the latest infusion of slots into the lobby indicates that BetRivers is not losing its competitiveness. It continues to offer one of the largest selections of games in the Wolverine State, a testament to its resilience and commitment to its customers.
