An in-depth live betting section offers up-to-the-minute odds and rolling updates as the action unfolds.

We did notice there was no live streaming available on games, but this wasn't an issue, as the live centre kept us up to speed with all the action. 

TonyBet

Founded as OmniBet, this new sports betting site was purchased by poker player Antanas Guoga (nicknamed Tony G) in 2009, where the sportsbook got its name, TonyBet.

While TonyBet could do with live streaming and early cash-out options, it was good to see the sportsbook offering a wide selection of popular and secure payment options, such as Mastercard, Visa and Interac.

Your winnings can be with you in as little as 12 hours, which is quick compared to other Canadian betting sites we've reviewed.

Bet99

Since arriving on the scene in 2020 under the slogan "By Canadians, For Canadians," Bet99 has become one of Canada's most popular new betting sites - especially among football bettors.

We would like to see more player props markets, but as one of Canada's best NFL betting sites Bet99's football offering is first-rate overall.

It's also one of the best new betting sites for live betting that we've reviewed.

Bettors can live stream some of the biggest sports games while they bet on the action - there was mostly tennis being shown when we checked, but other sports are streamed regularly.

You'll also find a handy Quick Parlay section in the sidebar that makes creating multiple bets and same game parlays extremely easy.

We built parlay bets on basketball and baseball games as well as football and soccer. 

We did notice that the banking methods at PointsBet were less diverse than those of some competitors; however, this should be fine, as there are more than enough payment methods to suit all types of bettors.
