Betting Odds: 5 NFL Player Props For Week 1
Stefon Diggs is at 1.87 to go over 67.5 receiving yards at theScore Bet
Joe Burrow is at 1.65 to go over 1.5 TD passes at BetMGM Sportsbook
Baltimore is a 1.22 favourite to beat Houston at NorthStar Bets
Kenny Pickett is at 2.75 to go over 1.5 TD passes at PointsBet Canada
Player prop markets are becoming more popular, and there’s no better sport for that than the NFL.
Gearing up for the Week 1 games over the weekend, here are some interesting player prop bets.
Top Prop Bets
Calvin Ridley, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Currently, the Over-Under on Ridley’s receiving yards is 62.5 (1.87) at theScore Bet, which seems low, considering Ridley was a 1,374-yard receiver with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, his last full season before being suspended. Ascending star QB Trevor Lawrence is coming off his first Pro Bowl. Ridley is poised for a big comeback year. The Jaguars play the Indianapolis Colts, in Indy, with the Jags favoured at NorthStar Bets, at 1.41. Ridley over 62.5 yards (1,87) is one of the most bet player props (tickets) at BetMGM. Moneyline at theScore Bet is Jaguars 1.45, Colts 2.9.
Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Fresh off the news Burrow has signed a record $275 million extension with the Bengals, BetMGM Sportsbook has the Over/Under passing touchdowns prop for Burrow at 1.5. We like the over (1.65). Burrow has said he’s healthy after that preseason calf injury and has a trio of great wide receivers – Tee Higgins, Ja’marr Chase and Tyler Boyd. At 1.75 on the moneyline, the Bengals are favoured Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
J.K. Dobbins, RB, Baltimore Ravens
A popular player-prop sleeper pick at BetMGM, Dobbins over 58.5 rushing yards (-115) seems pretty solid considering the opponent is the Houston Texans. The Ravens are big favourites in the game – 1.22 at NorthStar Bets.
Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
One of the most widely bet props at PointsBet Canada is Pickett going over 1.5 touchdown passes. That looks like a solid bet at 2.75. The Steelers host the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, a tall order considering the 49ers are a Super Bowl favourite. There’s been a lot of hype around Pickett. Is it justified? Pickett threw for 2,404 yards over 13 games last season, a 6.2-yard average. And he looked decisive and comfortable in the preseason. At theScore Bet, the moneyline is at Steelers 2.15 and 49ers 1.74.
Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills
There has been a lot of chatter about the Aaron Rodgers-Josh Allen showdown Monday night between the Jets and Bills, and we’re betting on WR Stefon Diggs will have a big night, eager to place all the rumours of friction with Allen behind him and make a statement that it’s onward and upward for the Bills. Go with the over 67.5 total receiving yards for Diggs, 1.87 at theScore Bet. Odds on the game still favour the Bills – 1.72 at BetMGM, Jets at 2.15.
