Canada Radio Host Bob McCown joins BetRivers as Brand Ambassador

Rush Street Interactive, Inc announced Tuesday that they’ve signed Bob McCown, a “sports talk radio legend,” to its BetRivers brand ambassador team. 

BetRivers Partnership Involves Bob McCown Podcast

The deal is multiple years and will be seen in “various commercials and to create exclusive content for the BetRivers Network.”

McCown’s career spans three decades and includes hosting and anchoring SportsLine, TSN’s The Business of Sports, and Sportsnet 590 The Fan’s Prime Time Sports. 

Currently, McCown is the host of his own podcast, The Bob McCown Show. It features John Shannon, which broadcasts daily on the SiriusXM satellite radio network. 

His podcast will air on the BetRivers Network per the agreement; he’ll appear in various meet and greet events. Shannon will join him, and he’ll appear in BetRivers ad campaigns across Ontario sports betting

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned through my career, it’s that sports fans want to go beyond surface-level game calls and get into what’s really driving their favorite players,” McCown said in a news release. “I’m thrilled to team up with an industry leader like BetRivers and work with them on delivering the insights and stories Canadians really want to hear.”

McCown Joins BetRivers Ambassador Group

McCown joins an ambassador group featuring fellow Canadian sports personalities like Dan O’Toole and Natasha Staniszewski.

“We’ve been hard at work since our entry into the Ontario market to build a best-in-class team of brand ambassadors,” Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI, which operates BetRivers.ca, said in the release. 

“Bob’s unmistakable voice and brand of top-tier commentary are instantly recognizable to any Canadian sports fan, and we’re incredibly lucky to have him join our growing roster of sports personalities.”
