Wouter is our in house Poker expert at Gambling.com and has an impressive cv when it comes to playing poker online including winning the Belgian Omaha Championship in 2015 but all forms of Poker from Texas Hold'Em to various variations come natural to him when discussing the merits here with the content and educational teams. 

His love and passion for all forms of card games led him naturally to the iGaming industry, where he has been working since 2016. Across a variety of positions, ranging from Customer Support to Social Media Manager to SEO, he has seen a lot of the ins and outs of the industry which makes him a great expert to have at Gambling.com.

Away from the desk….

While being a passionate recreational poker player, Wouter has built up a solid reputation in the Belgian local poker scene and managed to get some good results including winning the aforementioned Belgian Omaha Championship in 2015. He is known to be a keen mixed games poker player, and loves to invent his own poker variations making him a danger in any game with more than 2 cards.

In his free time you will likely catch him gaming, playing chess or watch his favourite Belgian football team, Beerschot. He also loves watching a large variety of other sports such as snooker, basketball and esports, and this very often goes hand in hand with his other past time, sports betting.
