BK8 Signs Three-Season Aston Villa Sponsorship Alliance
Online casinos and sports betting brand at BK8 has inked a three-season principal front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Premier League football club Aston Villa.
The arrangement is to see the logo for the iGaming brand feature prominently on the top-flight team’s three-strong range of matchday shirts until the summer of 2026, after which a voluntary league-wide prohibition on such accords with gambling firms comes into force.
Altruistic Aim
As part of this new alliance, BK8 will enjoy a range of advertising opportunities inside the English club’s 42,600-seat Villa Park home.
The iGaming brand intends to donate to a range of charitable organisations doing good work in and around the city of Birmingham.
The EMEA Managing Director for BK8, Michael Gatt, declared that his enterprise has been ‘working in football for the last few years’ and intends to maintain a commitment to ‘working closely with our partners’ local community initiatives’.

He went on to describe Aston Villa as ‘a prestigious institution’ and that his enterprise is now looking forward to ‘giving something back to the supporters for their dedication’.
“We are really delighted to be able to announce our support for local charities as part of our exciting new partnership with Aston Villa,” Gatt said.
“Over the next three years of this deal we will work tirelessly to make an impact in this area with a number of programs across the region that engage with Aston Villa supporters locally but also on a global scale.”

Aston Villa has won the domestic title seven times over the course of its 149-year history and even defeated German footballing giant Bayern Munich to take home the 1982 edition of the European Cup, which was the forerunner of the UEFA Champions League.
After a slow start to its 2022/23 campaign, Villa eventually finished in seventh spot to qualify for next season’s UEFA Europa Conference League and expectations are high ahead of their first full season under the tutelage of experienced coach Unai Emery.
“Through this partnership with BK8 we look forward to exciting collaborations together that will help to grow both brands, particularly within southeast Asia,” a statement from Aston Villa read.
Established in 2014, BK8 is no stranger to such sponsorship deals after holding analogous arrangements with top-flight Spanish sides Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Villarreal, RCD Mallorca and Elche as well as England’s Huddersfield Town.
