Kevin is responsible for commissioning, editing and writing betting content at Gambling.com for our English-speaking markets. His multi-faceted role involves sharing sports betting strategy tips, as well as testing, reviewing and ranking licensed bookmakers.
Kevin is passionate about regulated gambling and his experience covering betting scandals helps us to identify and blacklist bookmakers that aren’t trustworthy, so that we only promote legal sites that do things the right way.
A background in reporting means he is well-placed to convey the important stuff to our readers – whether that’s helping with strategy or breaking down the pros and cons of a new betting site.
Kevin is a long-suffering Shelbourne FC season-ticket holder who dreams of one day watching his club compete in Europe again.
When he’s not covering betting for Gambling.com, Kevin will likely be found watching sport, playing sport, or binging on sports podcasts. On the off-chance that gets boring, he’ll take a break to play his guitar or banjo.
As a struggling high-handicap hacker, golf is one of our Content Strategist’s favourite sports to watch and bet on. But he also enjoys horse racing, NBA basketball, GAA betting and football betting.
“I’ve been enamoured with all things betting since scribbling down my first football acca at a local betting shop way back when. Landing a 100/1 treble at Cheltenham in my early betting days whetted the appetite for more action – and I’m still a sucker for a punt on a long-shot from time to time.
“Working with Gambling.com allows me to share the knowledge I’ve gained from betting on a variety of sports over the years. I can also share what I picked up from covering the industry from an outside persepctive as a journalist.” Kevin Taylor.
