Roy Brindley

A kennel-hand in London-based greyhound kennels during the late 80’s Roy cut his betting teeth at Wembley, Walthamstow, Catford and Wimbledon greyhound stadium. He went on to train at Peterborough, Portsmouth and in America where he began writing, by chance, for the Racing Post. Later editing ‘Greyhound Monthly’ magazine he became a sponsored poker-pro, SKY Sports TV commentator and author during the mid-2000s. Consequently he now has almost 30 years experience within the gambling industry and loves writing about his preferred gambling sports: F1, greyhounds, poker, darts, snooker, winter sports and TV specials.
