2024 Masters Odds: Top Five LIV Golf Bets For Augusta
Masters Golf Predictions:
Masters golf betting is already underway for 2024 and punters are yet to be convinced that a LIV player will steal the show at Augusta this year.
Jon Rahm won the Masters last year before defecting to the breakaway tour, while Brooks Koepka became the first LIV golfer to win a major when clinching the PGA Championship last May.
The current golf odds with betting sites put Rahm and Koepka as third and fourth favourites to don the Green Jacket this spring but their price is hugely inflated compared to the frontrunner.
That honour is reserved for Scottie Scheffler, the World No.1 who has hit top form on the eve of the championship.
Scheffler and rival Rory McIlroy are flying the flag for the PGA Tour. There are also a handful of names circling the top four but it’s slim pickings for LIV players. Indeed, Joaquin Niemann – top of the LIV rankings this year – is given just a 3.4% chance of winning at Augusta.
That’s not to say another LIV player won’t upset the old guard next week. Below, we look at the five rebels most likely to celebrate victory come Sunday evening: Rahm, Koepka, Niemann, Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.

Jon Rahm Odds
Rahm comes into the Masters somewhat shy of competitive golf. He has only played four tournaments heading into LIV Golf Miami a week out from Augusta. His best result on the breakaway tour has been a tied-third finish at Mayakoba in February.
What’s more, LIV tournaments only feature three rounds and get rid of the cut. The Masters is a totally different beast.
Rahm is said to have earned more than $300m from his defection to LIV. That stings, especially after he was heralded as a PGA loyalist following his Masters victory last year.
He knows Augusta well and is third favourite heading into the week at 10/1. His price would be shorter had he played more golf this spring. Still, a successful stint in Miami and the Rahm odds could tumble.
Brooks Koepka Odds
The first LIV player to win a major, Koepka has also played just four tournaments this year and has missed the competitive action at the Players and Arnold Palmer often required to tee up a golfer for the Masters.
His results have been worse than Rahm’s and a 28th-place finish at a fairly routine Hong Kong Country Club course last month was a real disappointment.
Koepka is a five-time major winner and has finished second twice at Augusta. He also claimed three LIV titles in 2023. William Hill have placed him out at 16/1 to win the Masters – a price that reflects his current form rather than his overall ability.
Like Rahm, those odds could drop if Koepka impresses in Miami.
Joaquin Niemann Odds
Niemann is playing some of the best golf of his career and is arguably the big tip to win the Masters among LIV’s cohort of rebels. The Chilean beat Sergio Garcia in a playoff to clinch the season-opening Mayakoba title in February. He then crushed the field to win the Jeddah trophy by four strokes last month.
Niemann has been with LIV since 2022 and has never really fared well in the majors. His best result at Augusta was last year’s tied-16th finish. He’s only ever made the top 25 once.
Yet the 25-year-old has played into form of late and will bring a fair degree of confidence into the Masters.
He has a stylish, powerful swing that suits the course and consistency has been his main drawback in previous years. Get this right and his 33/1 price with betting apps will appear wildly inaccurate.
Dustin Johnson Odds
Dustin Johnson began the year on fire, finishing fifth in Mexico before winning LIV Las Vegas. Since then his results have tailed off and bookmakers have widened his odds from 22/1 to 33/1 in recent weeks.
Johnson’s heavy swing can cause him trouble at times and Augusta is an unforgiving course. However, when he’s in the zone he is almost unstoppable. He won the 2020 Masters by five strokes, posting a record score of 20-under.
He says his game is “trending in that direction” again but after a fairly disappointing 2023, and a slump in recent results, Johnson has a lot of work to do. The bookies aren’t sure of him right now but he could be worth an each-way bet for a top-five finish.
Bryson DeChambeau Odds
Bryson DeChambeau is flying under the radar heading into the Masters. The 2020 US Open champion last tasted victory on the LIV tour back in September but has started 2024 fairly well. If we ignore a miserable Mayakoba performance, he has placed in the top 10 of each of his last three outings.
Miami is another stage for DeChambeau to prove his worth to golf betting fans heading into Augusta.
In fact, he is one of the most in-form LIV players on the circuit. Only Niemann, Rahm and Charles Howell III have posted three or more top-10 finishes this year.
Golf betting sites have DeChambeau out at 40/1 to win the Masters and that price feels unfairly high. Granted, DeChambeau’s ultra-power game doesn’t exactly suit Augusta and he’s missed the cut in each of the past two years.
Yet he has the form and the ability to place in the top five here, making him a decent each way wager.
