1. Most Casinos Visited in 24 Hours
The most casinos visited in a 24-hour period is 74. This incredible record was set in 2017 by Kimo Ah Yun and Gary Meyer in Las Vegas, who managed to achieve their record-breaking feat in just 22.5 hours. Their previous record attempt saw them visit 69 casinos in 2015.
John and Christina Mehaffey tried to break the record on 4th October 2023, visiting an incredible 93 casinos. However, Guinness did not recognise this record attempt as the couple only played slot machines and not the tables.

2. The Largest Collection of Casino Chips
In 2024, Paul Schaffer set a world record after collecting 2,250 casino chips. The Missouri man received his first chip as a present from his mother after she visited the Silver Slipper in Las Vegas in 2004.
Collecting casino chips has become increasingly popular amongst players in recent years, with Las Vegas now hosting a casino collector and memorabilia show dedicated to this hobby each summer.
3. The World’s Most Valuable Casino Chip
Usually, a casino chip will have no intrinsic value, but this wasn’t the case with the chip created by Gerald Lewy in 2013. This luxury poker chip was worth an astonishing CAD 450,000 - which is roughly NZ$540,000.
Handcrafted from 22-karat rose gold and adorned with 5-carat pink diamonds around its edge, the chip featured the raised shapes of seven and eight on its faces, studded with additional diamonds.
4. The Biggest Blackjack Table in the World
The world’s biggest blackjack table, measuring 206.85 metres, set a record on 13th September 2012 at Casino Viejas in Alpine, USA. Measuring 120x the size of a regular table, it was created to mark the casino’s 21st anniversary.
The enormous table hosted an actual game of blackjack, with six casino employees and a dealer playing. They used oversized cards and chips to deliver a truly super-sized casino experience.

5. The Longest Poker Game

6. World’s Largest Slots Tournament
In April 2016, Muckleshoot Casino collaborated with Everi Games Inc. to host a tournament for 3,173 slot players. Collectively, the participants won over $100,000 in cash and prizes during this record-breaking session.
The tournament’s top-placed finisher earned $21,000 in cash and a four-night trip to Las Vegas to compete in the Everi TournEvent of Champions Championship.

7. Longest Consecutive Blackjack Play
Dutch blackjack player Hielke Klingeler claimed his own world record when he played a marathon blackjack session that lasted 72 hours. Achieving the feat in Zuidlaren, Netherlands, from 14th to 17th August 2023, Hielke stated that he wanted to break the previous record to gain recognition in the casino industry and to raise money for charity.
8. World’s Oldest Croupier
Joanna Dodd currently holds the record for being the world’s oldest casino croupier. Born on 15th January 1936, she worked the tables in a Las Vegas casino until she was 79 years and 36 days old. She achieved her record in 2015, beating the previous record holder by just one day.

9. The Longest Craps Roll in History
In May 2009, a remarkable grandmother set a world record by rolling a Craps dice 154 times in a row. New Jersey native, Patricia Demauro, achieved this incredible feat in Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, starting with just a $100 bankroll.
In total, Demauro played for four hours and 18 minutes, in a gambling stint that included 25 passes. In doing so, she broke the previous record set by Stanley Fujitake in 1989, with that player managing a still staggering 118 rolls in three hours and six minutes.
10. Most Slot Machines Playing the Same Game Simultaneously
Bally Technologies and Mohegan Sun Casino joined forces to break the record for the most slot machines running the same game simultaneously. A crowd began lining up at the casino from 6am to register for the contest and to be in with a chance of winning one of the 200 prizes on offer.
In total, 1,610 slot machines were all playing Bally’s hugely popular video slot game, Hot Shot, at the same time.
