Gambling.com Rating: 8/10
Our Verdict: A reliable bookie with consistent odds and a range of valuable promotions - most notably early payout offers.
BoyleSports is Ireland’s biggest independent bookmaker and has become a favourite in the UK over the past couple of decades.
The early payout deals are particularly good - I’ve picked up early wins on everything from football and tennis to darts and snooker.
I also really like this betting site for golf and horse racing, mainly because of the extra place deals for both sports.
On the downside, the sign-up offer isn't the most valuable I've claimed, while the site layout is a little cluttered, which might overwhelm new users.
While I've found the odds to be consistently strong across major sports, they rarely outshine the competition.
Overall, BoyleSports is a reliable, promo-packed bookie that I recommend for both casual and serious punters.

The BoyleSports welcome offer gives new customers a £20 free bet bonus, which is less generous than other welcome offers I've claimed.
For example, Betfred has a Bet £10 Get £50 offer in place, while I got £40 when I signed up with Tote.
The positives with this offer lie in its simplicity and versatility.
There are no wagering requirements with your winnings and the bonus is credited as one £20 free bet, which I was able to use on any sport I liked.
Bookmaker | Qualifying Bet | Free Bet Bonus |
---|---|---|
Bet £10 | Get £20 | |
Bet £10 | Get £50 | |
Bet £10 | Get £40 | |
Bet £5 | Get £20 | |
Bet £5 | Get £25 |
This is where BoyleSports really comes into its own.
Existing customer offers cover lots of sports and I've found them genuinely valuable - especially the early payout deals.
I also like the 'Acca Rewards' promo, which lets you either boost or insure your accumulator bets.
I've claimed many price boosts here, while the regular 25% boosts on bet builders are another highlight.
Here are five of my favourite BoyleSports offers:
Promotion | Description |
---|---|
1. Early Payout Deals | Get paid as a winner if your team/player leads by a certain amount. |
2. Acca Rewards | Boost your winnings or insure your acca for a refund if one leg lets you down. |
3. Extra Places | Extra each-way places for golf majors and selected horse races. |
4. Bet Builder Boost | 25% winnings boost on selected bet builder bets. |
5. BoyleXtra Loyalty Card | Earn points for free bets and exclusive offers. |
In my experience, BoyleSports' horse racing offering is really strong.
The odds are consistent with the UK's best horse racing betting sites, with best odds guaranteed and live streaming offered for all UK and Irish races.
That said, I have found better horse racing odds in ante-post markets for Cheltenham and Royal Ascot at BetGoodwin, where I also found a few more money-back specials.
The extra place deals are the highlight at BoyleSports when betting on races - available for big races like the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Aintree Grand National.
This bookie frequently pays out more places than rival sites like William Hill - sometimes up to six or seven places for races with big fields.
"Few sites offer as many price boosts for big races as BoyleSports - the extra place terms are also excellent."
The BoyleSports football betting service is also strong, with the early payout promotion standing out.
You're paid as a winner if your team goes two goals ahead - even if they go on to lose.
While other bookies also have this deal for football, it usually only applies to singles, which has caught me out in the past. At BoyleSports, the difference is that early payouts apply to accumulators as well.
I always use this site during major international tournaments like the Euros and the World Cup, because the deal is usually enhanced so all you need is a one-goal lead.
In terms of odds, BoyleSports generally holds its own when compared with the UK's best football betting sites, but they aren't always the best available.
For example, when I bet on a Premier League match between Manchester City and Tottenham, BoyleSports offered odds of 1/2 for a City win, while talkSPORT BET had slightly better odds at 4/7.
I’ve found the each-way golf value at BoyleSports is really hard to beat.
With the 'Pick Your Place' promo, I can tailor my own E/W terms - up to 10 places at 1/5 of the win odds.
The odds decrease in value if you add more places, and vice-versa.
By comparison, most rival golf betting sites - like BetVictor and William Hill - tend to offer deals with fixed terms.
BoyleSports also offers enhanced each-way terms for PGA Tour events every Wednesday through their 'Happy Hour promo' (as shown above).
"10 extra places for each-way bets on the majors - it doesn't really get much better than that."
BoyleSports has lots of variety for tennis bettors.
There's an early payout promo, which often kicks in when your player takes a one-set lead, something very few other sites offer.
Some of the UK's best tennis betting sites offer live streaming, but they rarely show Grand Slam events.
So, I was impressed to find that I could watch and bet on several French Open matches when I tried out the BoyleSports site.
I did sometimes find more markets elsewhere, however. Unibet can sometimes be a better option if you're looking for market depth on tennis.
I’ve tested plenty of cricket betting sites and BoyleSports is one of my favourites.
Like Unibet, they offer live streams of some short-format matches.
But unlike Unibet, BoyleSports allowed me to use the bet builder for cricket, with up to five markets per match supported.
Pair that with a 25% bet builder boost and I could squeeze a lot of extra value out of my cricket bets.
There's also the early payout promo. If my team posted 75–0, my match winner bet paid out early.
The odds are on par with top cricket bookmakers like William Hill and Unibet, but early payouts and a cricket bet builder set BoyleSports apart.
BoyleSports' darts betting section is decent, with a good selection of markets for major tournaments and a few promotions.
There are early payouts for darts, with the terms varying depending on the format of the tournament you're betting on.
Odds-wise, I prefer BetMGM for the Premier League of Darts, where they consistently have the best prices.
But BoyleSports shines at the PDC Darts World Grand Prix - they sponsor the tournament and their outright odds are among the best I’ve seen.
The rugby betting section at BoyleSports is very comprehensive, with lots of markets to choose from across rugby league and union.
During testing, I bet on a Super Rugby game between the Highlanders and the Crusaders and was given the option to choose from 144 markets.
The gold bet builder icon showed me I could combine five of those legs into a same-game multi, while the yellow price boost icon showed me that a boost was available for the game.
I saw these icons dotted across lots of markets, from Champions Cup games to international ties in the Six Nations and Test matches.
There are two early payout promos here: The rugby union offer pays you out as a winner if your team leads by 17 points.
Meanwhile, the rugby league offer is slightly better - you get paid out early if your team leads by 16.
BoyleSports doesn't take snooker betting as seriously as some of its rivals.
The odds are strong, but markets are much lighter on the ground than they are at sites like BetVictor.
Promotions are limited, but I have seen an early payout promo pop up around major tournaments like the World Snooker Championship.
There aren't any live streams here either - you'll have to go to the likes of bet365 to watch and bet on snooker.
Boxing and MMA fans are well looked-after at BoyleSports.
I like betting on MMA here in particular, as there are live streams of UFC fights, which is a unique feature among even the best UFC betting sites.
The boxing offering at BoyleSports is decent.
I could bet on whether a fight would go the distance, or on the over/under market for total rounds, along with lots of other more granular markets.
The boxing early payout deal paid me out as a winner when my fighter scored an official knockdown at any stage of a bout.
BoyleSports has markets for 44 different sports, so there's plenty of choice here across the sporting spectrum.
I also found plenty of novelty markets for TV shows like I'm a Celebrity, as well as politics betting markets, like next Prime Minister.
BoyleSports is also a solid option for betting on American sports.
There are early payout offers available for basketball, NFL, and baseball, as well as a great selection of boosts in these sports.
The Esports betting section is decent, with markets for major titles like League of Legends and Dota.
There are fewer Esports live streams here than at rivals like Betway, however.
The greyhound betting section also deserves a mention, with live streams and best odds guaranteed for UK and Irish greyhound races.
In my experience, BoyleSports’ odds are solid but rarely the absolute best.
For example, I checked the ante-post odds for the Cheltenham Gold Cup and found that BoyleSports had the favourite at 3/1, while BetVictor offered 10/3.
In short, BoyleSports keeps you in the game with competitive prices, but can fall short of the very best odds.
In terms of betting coverage, however, you won't go far wrong with BoyleSports.
Big football competitions like the Premier League and Champions League come with hundreds of betting options for all the big games.
However, some sports like F1 could use a few more markets. Esports is similar - with broader coverage offered elsewhere.
BoyleSports' bet builder is pretty basic, but very usable.
It allows you to build bets of up to five legs from the same event across 11 sports: football, tennis, cricket, basketball, rugby union, rugby league, MMA, ice hockey, American football, Australian football (AFL) and baseball.
It doesn't offer quite as much variety as Bzeebet's bet builder, which allows you to combine 30 selections across 10 sports, but it usually comes with a nice boost deal.
I've claimed a 25% bet builder boost across all supported sports, from Champions League games in football to major UFC fights.
Bookmaker | Maximum Selections | Sports Available |
---|---|---|
Up to 5 | 11 Sports in Total | |
Up to 12 | 14 Sports in Total | |
Up to 12 | 6 Sports in Total | |
Up to 10 | Football Only | |
Up to 12 | 5 Sports in Total |
The live betting options at BoyleSports are quite comprehensive.
I found live streams available for many sports, including horse racing, greyhound racing, football, tennis, cricket, basketball and UFC MMA fights.
The tennis streams, in particular, are excellent. Streaming of Grand Slams like the French Open is a real plus for most tennis bettors.
If no live streams are available for a given market, detailed live graphics update in real-time as the match unfolds.
I also like the live stats which pop up next to the in-play odds.
BoyleSports provides a full cash out option on both pre-match and in-play bets across more than 20 sports.
Partial cash out is offered on selected markets, which allowed me to take a portion of profits while allowing the rest of the bet to play out.
BoyleSports feels a bit cluttered next to sites like 10bet, which has a more pared-back, modern feel.
The header and side menus contain a lot of information, making it difficult to find what I need at a glance. And the sheer volume of information on the homepage could be overwhelming for newer bettors.
On the plus side, once I click into a sport, everything I want to see is right there on the screen.
Promotions are clearly displayed as banners at the top of the page, so I can spot any odds boosts, free bets or early payout offers.
That part of the design is smart and saves time.
Overall, I’d say BoyleSports gives you all the info you need, but its layout could benefit from a cleaner look.
Payment Method | Minimum Deposit | Average Withdrawal Time |
---|---|---|
Visa Debit | £5 | 1-3 business days |
Mastercard Debit | £5 | 2-3 business days |
PayPal | £5 | Up to 24 hours |
Neteller | £5 | Up to 24 hours |
Skrill | £5 | Up to 24 hours |
Bank Transfer | £5 | 1-5 business days |
Apple Pay | £5 | 1-3 business days |
I’ve used the BoyleSports app on iOS (4.4/5 stars on the App Store) and Android (3.8/5 average user rating on Google Play) and I found that both perform well overall.
The Android version can lag a little when switching markets and the interface feels a touch cluttered compared to newer apps.
On the upside, deposits and withdrawals - especially via Apple Pay - are seamless.
Recent updates have smoothed out many bugs, so I’m optimistic about further Android improvements.
Overall, it’s a reliable betting app that could be improved by a cleaner design and better stability on Android.
I’ve tested BoyleSports’ customer support and here’s what I found:
Channel | Availability | My Experience |
---|---|---|
Live Chat | 24/7 | Helpful agents usually sort things out quickly. |
Social Media | Always available | Active Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts for support. |
Always available | Replies can take up to 12 hours. | |
Phone | 8am-12am | I can call free on 0800 22 00 66 in the UK. |
Overall, I find live chat to be the fastest and easiest way to get in touch with a support agent.
I'd recommend using this above the other contact methods if you encounter any issues here.
I’ve looked through BoyleSports’ responsible gambling tools and found them to be very comprehensive.
When I clicked on the 'Safer Gambling' tab on the homepage, here's what I found:
Overall, you can tell BoyleSports takes responsible betting seriously, with clear links and contact numbers for helpful organisations like BeGambleAware provided.
I've been impressed by BoyleSports overall.
The odds are consistently strong across football, racing and other major sports, even if they don’t always top the board.
But the promotions make up for any shortcomings in the odds in my opinion, with lots of extra value provided.
In particular, I love how early payout deals apply to so many different sports.
The site and app can feel busy and the welcome offer isn't the best out there - but these are only minor inconveniences when you look at the bigger picture.
Overall, if you’re looking for a solid, promotion-driven bookmaker, BoyleSports delivers.
