NRG.Bet Review 2024

Written by

NRG.Bet might be one of the newest UK online betting sites around, but it’s quickly becoming a popular choice for punters.

The bookie launched in the UK in 2024 and is owned and operated by SharedBet Limited.

It’s licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and has passed all our safety and security checks.

When I landed on the NRG homepage, I immediately noticed the size of the football betting section. There’s also a dropdown menu to help you quickly choose from over 20 leagues from around the world.

There’s also an extensive in-play betting section and the most popular games and races of the day will slide across the homepage.

Below we’ll talk you through the very best of NRG, and also highlight areas we feel it needs to improve in. Let’s take a look.

NRG.Bet Pros
  • New and exciting bookie
  • Extensive football markets
  • Good in-play offering
  • Licensed by UKGC
  • Good political betting markets
NRG.Bet Cons
  • No eSports
  • Only offers odds on 19 sports

NRG.Bet Sign up Offer

NRG.Bet is offering new bettors £10 in free bets when they create an account. All you need to do is join and make a qualifying bet of £20 or more at odds of at least 2.0.

Once your bet settles, you’ll get a £10 free bet to use on a sports market of your choice, regardless of the result. To unlock this offer, you’ll need to use the bonus code b20g10.

NRG.Bet's bet £20 get £10 welcome offer is simple to follow, although you may find bonuses with better value elsewhere.

NRG.Bet Promotions For Existing Customers

One of the issues that I found reviewing NRG.Bet were the offers available for existing customers. They were few and far between at the time, which isn't all that uncommon for new betting sites and could change in the future.

In my experience, promotions were limited to price boosts for major markets such as Premier League, Champions League, basketball and political betting on the next US President. There are offers available, but not as frequent as you'll find on more established betting sites.

In-Play Betting Options & Features

I was happy to find in-play betting is given plenty of attention at NRG. From the homepage, click the In Play tab and you’ll be shown the latest odds on live and upcoming events.

When I last checked in, on a Sunday morning, there were 13 different sports to choose from, which is a good amount for live betting sites.

Each one had multiple markets and bet types available. Football, golf, tennis, cricket and darts made up the largest part of the live betting section, but there were also odds on snooker and American sports.

When you click into an event, you’ll be shown live odds that change to reflect how the game is unfolding.

None of the events I clicked into had a live centre, or live streaming options, that I’m used to finding elsewhere, but hopefully this can be rectified in the near future.

There are several live streaming betting sites that offer users the chance to watch live events, but for now NRG.Bet customers will have to wait.

Bet Builder

Bet builders are one of the most popular bet types at bookies - and NRG is no different.

To get started, simply look for the little ‘B+’ logo beside a game. Click through and you’ll see odds on over 40 different markets per game.

From there you can quickly expand and compact a number of markets from the dropdown menu to build your bet.

As you add more legs, the betslip will update automatically to show your odds and potential payout.

Each bet builder at NRG can contain up to 30 legs. However, it’s worth remembering that, as bet builders are classed as a single bet, all selections on the ticket must win for the bet to be successful.

Bet builders are currently only available on football, which is not uncommon on bet builder betting sites. As NRG.Bet is quite new, I’m hoping there will be other sports added in the near future.

NRG.Bet Mobile Betting Review

Most sports betting is now done on mobile phones while punters are on the go. With this in mind, I wasn’t surprised to find NRG has fully functioning mobile betting apps for both Android and Apple users.

While only new, the app has all the same features as the desktop version of the site. But if you’re not into downloading apps, there’s also a slick mobile version of the site available. Simply launch NRG.Bet from your browser.

You’ll need a decent data connection to play, but this version of the site doesn’t take up space on your phone and never needs to be updated.

Customer Support

Being able to rely on customer care while betting is extremely important. Thankfully, NRG.Bet got the memo on this one, and they have a multi-channel support team in place 24/7.

You can contact them via email, or across social media on Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

I raised some queries with the team over email and received a response within an hour. However if you’re in more of a rush, I’d suggest reaching out on social media.

Responsible Gambling at NRG.Bet

Sports betting should always be fun, and you should only ever bet with money you can afford to lose.

NRG has a number of responsible gambling tools in place to help punters. If you’re worried about your betting, you can tackle the problem head on using deposit limits or session limits.

Furthermore, you can opt to self exclude yourself from the site, or close down your account permanently. For more information on how NRG bet can help you, please reach out to customer support.

Why Should You Bet With NRG.Bet?

NRG is an exciting new bookie that goes heavy on football and horse racing betting.

The site looks sharp, and everything is easy to find, which makes betting a whole lot quicker. There’s also an extensive in-play betting section that has odds on the biggest live events on the sporting calendar.

Added extras, like competitive odds on big political events and interesting TV specials, only add to NRG’s appeal.

I’d love to have encountered more bonuses and promotions during my time on the site. However, as the bookie is so new, I fully expect these to be added in the near future.

Along with that, don’t be surprised if live streaming becomes available soon.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time betting at NRG.
