NFL Week 6 Picks: The Panel's Selections For Sunday, Including Lions @ Cowboys

We've reached Week 6 in the NFL, and for the second successive week, fans have four back-to-back games to enjoy.

The Jaguars and Bears get things under way in London, before the usual slate of games in the States after that.

The Panel have thoroughly analysed the markets on the leading betting apps and tracked the latest trends to bring you three great value bets for Sunday's action.

NFL Week 6 Predictions:

Steelers @ Raiders Prediction: Steelers Defense To Dominate Third Quarter

The 3-2 Steelers travel to Las Vegas to face the 2-3 Raiders, who are coming off a demoralising 34-18 loss to the Broncos in Denver. Pittsburgh lost a close one in Dallas by three points at home.

One trend that has emerged from Pittsburgh's start to the season has been their defensive fortitude just after half-time.

The interval gives coaches time to make adjustments to what they have seen from their opposition in the first half and the Steelers defense has yet to concede a point in the third quarter in five games.

Las Vegas haven't been great in the 15 minutes immediately after half-time and have failed to score in three of their five third quarters.

We expect that trend to continue on Sunday.

The Panel Pick 1: Steelers To Win The Third Quarter - 10/13 With Bet365

Falcons @ Panthers Odds: Falcons To Score Regularly

When the Carolina Panthers beat the Raiders 36-22 in Week 3, it offered hope to the long-suffering fan base that the good times were coming back.

In every other game the Panthers have played this season, their defense has given up points in every quarter. NFL betting sites have the Falcons as overwhelming favourites.

Now is not the best time to play the Falcons, who have improved their record to 3-2 following back-to-back wins over division rivals Saints and Buccaneers.

In both those games, Atlanta posted points in every quarter, including overtime to secure victory against Tampa Bay last time out.

Carolina's scoring defense is the worst in the league, conceding 33.0 per game, and The Panel expect another tough experience for the Panthers.

The Panel Pick 2: Falcons To Score In Every Quarter - 31/20 With Bet365

Lions @ Cowboys Preview: Aubrey To Showcase His Strength

Detroit's trip to Dallas is a repeat of last year's Week 17 showdown in the Motor City, when a penalty negated a successful two-point conversion, which would have won the game for the Lions.

Instead, it was ruled that Taylor Decker had not reported to the officials that he was an eligible receiver and Detroit lost 20-19.

The Cowboys will hope this game does not come down to the final seconds, but if it does, and they have the ball, then Dallas will be confident of getting the win.

In Brandon Aubrey, the Cowboys have one of the best kickers in the NFL. The former MLS player has proved his worth with his leg this season already, with four successes from 55 yards or longer.

Aubrey has kicked the longest field goal in all five games the Cowboys have played this season, which makes it easier for a head coach when he is faced with a 4th down on the opposition's 43-yard yard, knowing they have a player who can kick it.

In Dan Campbell, the Lions have a coach who'd rather go for it on 4th down rather than kick a field goal. Even more so, given Detroit's second-year kicker is relatively untested, with a 35-yard field goal his longest in the NFL.

The Panel are opting for Aubrey to kick the longest field goal in this game.

The Panel Pick 3: Brandon Aubrey To Kick Longest Field Goal - 20/23 With Bet365

* A treble on these NFL Week 6 tips is priced at 13/2 on Bet365
