Charlie is a keen punter in his spare time and loves betting on the underdog. With this approach in mind, he hopes to one day cash in on his beloved Miami Dolphins winning a Super Bowl.
As a self-confessed stats nerd, Charlie considers himself the 'unofficial statistician' for the NFL London games, with every conceivable statistic collected since the first game in 2007.
"When Channel 4 began showing the NFL in the UK in 1982, it grabbed my attention as a 12-year-old growing up in Portstewart, Northern Ireland.
"Fascinated by the numbers on the screen, I taught myself the rules of NFL football. Little did I know that over 40 years later, I would be covering the sport for Gambling.com.
"Working in sports media and sports betting has allowed me to combine my passions with my profession - something I'm always grateful for."
