Who Will Take Part In Dancing On Ice 2025?

Dancing on Ice is set to return in early 2025, and there has already been plenty of talk about who might take part.

Betting sites have been busy pricing up several stars, but one thing we already know about the upcoming 17th series is that Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern will return as co-hosts.

Mollie On Ice

Mollie Pearce is the 1/4 favourite on specials betting sites to swap The Traitors' castle for the ice rink.

The model became a household name earlier this year when she appeared in the BBC reality show and cruelly missed out on the £95k jackpot when she believed fellow star Harry Clark was a Faithful, only to discover he was playing the part of a Traitor.

Mollie was left devastated about being duped on the show, and she looks set to be a fan favourite on the ice.

A source recently told The Sun newspaper: "Mollie captured the nation with her devastation when Harry brilliantly conned her on The Traitors and she’s not put a foot wrong since.

"She’s gorgeous and TV fans will love the chance to get behind her as she takes on a new competition."

New betting sites suggest that Mollie could be joined former TOWIE stars Ferne McCann (2/7) and Dan Edgar (2/5).

Dan is said to have held meetings with ITV about taking part in the programme, and is thought to be "excited about trying something new".

What's more, Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey is 8/15 to join the trio on the series, and follow in the icy footsteps of several former Oaks stars, including Jorgie Porter, Stephanie Waring, and Carley Stenson.

From Love Island To Ice Rink

This year's Love Island series featured a closely-fought battle for the title, with favourites Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies pipped at the post.

While they missed out on a £50k payday, one of the pair could land some cold, hard cash by signing up for next year's Dancing on Ice.

Nicole is just Evens to do so, while her boyfriend Ciaran is an 11/10 chance.

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan were the couple who won this summer's Love Island, and they are both 10/3 for Dancing on Ice appearances.

If either of the four sign up for this year's series, they could ask their fellow Islander Joey Essex for tips after he finished runner-up on Dancing on Ice in 2023's series 15.

Olympian Tom Daley was another runner-up this summer, when he and Noah Williams secured a silver medal in the Men's Synchronised 10m Platform diving event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Following the Games, Daley announced his retirement from diving, and he is now just 2/1 to sign up for Dancing on Ice, which is judged by Olympic legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, as well as dancers Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.

Another Olympic legend, Linford Christie (5/1), could also be in contention, after he appeared on ITV's Cooking with the Stars this summer.

Swapping Soapland For Skating

Soap stars are no strangers to stints on the ice.

This year's Dancing on Ice featured four soap stars, including ex-Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, who won the series.

Several could be in the conversation for series 17, including ex-EastEnders star Clay Milner Russell, who left his role as killer Bobby Beale this month.

Clay is 7/4 on betting apps to swap Soapland for skating, while his former co-stars Shona McGarty (4/1) and Max Bowden (9/1) might also be in with a shout.

What's more, former Hollyoaks actors Owen Warner, who is 5/2, and 9/2 shot Jamie Lomas could be in contention after departing the soap.
