Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle @ Cheltenham 2.10 - Alpesh Amin @ 33/1
We’ll start with Alpesh Amin in the 2.10, with this selection lining up in the Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle.
The seven-year-old looks well weighted for this contest and was a winner on his previous appearance at Gowran Park.
A month ago, we saw the horse fend off 19 rivals to claim a victory in the Full Circle Series At Punchestown Festival 2024 Qualifier Handicap Hurdle, claiming a two-length win after being held up in the rear.
There could be more to come from a horse who also caught the eye at Limerick over the festive period.
TrustATrader Plate Handicap Chase @ Cheltenham 4.10 – Glengouly @ 22/1
Moving on to the 4.10 at Cheltenham, we’ve got Glengouly on our shortlist when it comes to the TrustATrader Plate Handicap Chase.
While Theatre Man and Crebilly are among the favourites to win this encounter on horse racing betting sites, there’s plenty more juice going for a Willie Mullins-trained charge who has achieved two seconds this season.
The first of these came at Limerick when following home Happy Dreams and there was then an eye-catching performance at Gowran Park in late January.
In a field of 18 runners, he was able to navigate a path to the front before missing out against the Henry de Bromhead entrant Ain’t That A Shame.
He is certainly one to keep an eye on for a bumper afternoon of racing on Thursday.
Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup @ Cheltenham 5.30 – Demnat @ 50/1
The last race today is the 5.30 which sees Inothewayurthinkin heading the Cheltenham odds, although this is a seriously competitive heat and we’ve identified a bigger-priced selection when it comes to the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup.
Demnat could land the spoils for trainer Venetia Williams who is no stranger to success when it comes to the Cheltenham Festival.
The seven-year-old was very recently seen finishing third in a prep race at Newbury after previously winning at Ludlow.
That was a standout performance from a horse that was able to win by 15 lengths and that was over two miles, four furlongs on soft ground.
