Bryan Mbeumo has enjoyed a fantastic start to the season and the UK betting sites are now offering a market on his next move.

Mbeumo spent the first few years of his Brentford career in Ivan Toney’s shadow, but he has taken centre stage since the England international’s move to Saudi Arabia in the summer. 

The 25-year-old has earned admiring glances from clubs higher up the food chain after scoring eight goals in his first nine Premier League appearances in 2024/25, a return that only Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland can better.

Where might the Cameroon international end up if he does indeed depart the Gtech Community Stadium sooner rather than later?

Liverpool Lead Betting Market For Mbeumo

Mohamed Salah is in fantastic form for Liverpool at the moment, but many fans are concerned that he is on his way out of the club at the end of the campaign. 

Out of contract in 2025, Salah may well choose to move to Saudi Arabia for one last big payout.

Replacing the Egypt international will not be easy, given his remarkable consistency over the years, but Mbeumo is one man who has been mentioned as a possible successor. 

He is left-footed like Salah and possesses some of the same qualities, albeit he has not yet demonstrated his ability to perform at the very highest level. 

Odds of 6/4 on betting apps make Liverpool favourites to sign Mbeumo.

Newcastle Expected To Be Busier Next Summer

Newcastle United endured a frustrating summer of transfer activity last time out. Lloyd Kelly on a free was the only major addition to Eddie Howe’s squad.

The Magpies spent most of the window pursuing Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace without being able to get a deal over the line.

There should be more money to spend in 2025 and Mbeumo is considered a realistic target by football betting sites, which offer a price of 2/1 on him moving to St James’ Park. 

The right-hand berth in Newcastle’s attack is up for grabs and Mbeumo could easily end up filling it.

Arsenal Could Move For Brentford Attacker

Mbeumo has been at Brentford since 2019 and is presumably settled in London, so the chance to join a club like Arsenal would no doubt appeal to him. 

The Gunners are well stocked with attackers at the moment, but that does not mean they will not be looking to refresh their pool next summer - or even in January.

Bukayo Saka is a guaranteed starter on the right for Arsenal, but Mbeumo can play centrally too. 

He would provide some of the guile that the Gunners have missed at times this term, while his link play is also impressive. 

Arsenal can be backed at 9/4 to land the France-born forward.

Tottenham Another Option For Mbeumo

Tottenham Hotspur turned on the style in a 4-1 thrashing of Aston Villa on Sunday. 

There is no doubt that Ange Postecoglou’s side are inconsistent, but when they are on song they are a joy to watch. 

It must be enjoyable for attacking players to line up for such an offence-minded team.

Mbeumo could end up on Tottenham’s shopping list, with the north Londoners seen as fourth-favourites at odds of 3/1. 

Qualifying for the Champions League would make it much easier for Spurs to attract their targets going forward, so much could depend on the outcome of their campaign.

Chelsea Likely To Keep Spending 

Chelsea have not been shy to splash the cash under their current ownership group and there is no reason to expect that policy to change in 2025. 

Enzo Maresca has trimmed down the bloated squad he inherited, but the Italian will no doubt want the chance to shape the squad a little more to his liking.

We do not know if Mbeumo is of interest to Chelsea, but it is hard to imagine them sitting out the race for any player they admire. 

The Brentford man is priced at 4/1 to end up at his current employers’ west London rivals. 

Chelsea are not among the outright favourites, but many will like the look of those odds given the club’s tendency to stockpile talented attackers.

Could Amorim Sign Mbeumo?

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will want to make changes to his new squad when the winter transfer window opens on January 1.

Signing a player of Bryan Mbeumo's quality would add more experience to a frontline that includes Rasmus Hojlund (21) and Alejandro Garnacho (20). 

United are 6/1 to land Mbeumo in the New Year.
