Celebrity MasterChef's Finals Week is upon us, when one star will be crowned series 19 champion.

The heat will be turned up in the kitchen, and it's a similar situation on betting sites, where there isn't much to separate the top three in the market.

Last week, the top eight took on one another for five Finals Week places.

Singer and actor Jake Quickenden departed first, and it was onto Thursday night when This Morning presenter Craig Doyle was put through to Friday's episode early after impressing guest judge Ainsley Harriott with his bao buns.

The remaining stars were tasked with making pizza, and Line of Duty actress Rochenda Sandall, Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Vito Coppola, and The Business actor Tamer Hassan were particularly praised.

However, Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, and makeup artist Dominic Skinner all had "dough issues".

Dominic was next to go, and Harry and H could count themselves lucky.

In Friday's episode, the last of the semi-finals, food critic Grace Dent was in the kitchen to help regular judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace set the celebrity cooks a task.

She instructed the stars to cook something "delicious and decadent", adding: "I want you to make me happy, but I want you to expand my waistline."

Rochenda's Semi-Final 'Treat'

The semi-finalists gave it their best shot, and when delivering her final verdict to John and Gregg, Grace admitted she was "bewildered" because the standard was "so high".

During their summing up, John and Gregg put Rochenda, Vito and Harry straight through to Finals Week, but Tamer went home at the final hurdle, despite a "beautifully" cooked piece of fish, according to Gregg.

After impressing throughout the competition, the Football Factory actor can count himself somewhat unfortunate to miss out this week, while Craig and H scraped through.

At the top of the market, actress Rochenda is now the 4/5 favourite on Celebrity MasterChef betting sites as Finals Week looms.

The star served up Korean fried chicken, and Grace "loved" her effort, while Gregg described her dish as an "absolute treat".

Vito One Step Behind

Pro dancer Vito isn't too far behind at 11/8 on specials betting sites, after wowing with his chocolate and pistachio cake.

Gregg loved his "perfectly moist" layers of sponge, and Grace described it as "beautiful" and "delicious".

John also pointed out Vito had used "huge amounts of skill" to produce his effort, adding: "I love it."

Third favourite Craig (13/8) received a mixed reaction to this tomahawk steak, served with crispy onion rings, macaroni cheese with scallops, and buttered cabbage.

Grace admitted it was "indulgent" and provided the "decadence" she was looking for.

While she also praised Craig's "outstanding" onion rings, Gregg found them and the steak to be "a little bit dry", but loved Craig's plate overall.

However, John thought his steak was cooked "really, really well".

Harry Booms Into Contention

Gladiator Harry was perhaps fortunate to make it into Friday night's episode, but he didn't disappoint in the last of the semis.

Harry served up chocolate fondant and a salted caramel chocolate tart, served with vanilla ice cream and honeycomb.

Gregg said his dish was "absolutely superb" and praised his "proper technical skill", while John gave the ultimate compliment of the night, beginning his critique by simply saying: "Boom."

This led to Harry's fellow celebrities cheering.

John also said he would pay for Harry's dessert, and the star is now into 2/1 on betting apps to win the coveted Celebrity MasterChef trophy, while H is propping up the market at 7/2.

The singer made lobster in garlic and butter, which was "really nicely cooked", according to Gregg.

However, it wasn't all positive as John wanted more white wine sauce and Grace admitted it was "not a perfect dish", but she liked it overall.

Despite this, H is through to Finals Week, where anything can happen.
