FA Cup Final 40/1 Bet Builder: Man City Vs Man Utd Trends You Can’t Ignore

Man City Vs Man Utd Predictions:

After waiting years for a Manchester derby in the FA Cup final, two come along in quick succession like the trams navigating their way through the north-west city.

One year after City beat United 2-1 as part of their treble-winning season, the two sides are back at Wembley with the same prize in their sights.

Victory for United would make it back-to-back seasons with a trophy for under-fire manager Erik ten Hag, and a win would also deny their rivals a league and cup double.

As soon as the two sides booked their place in the final, City, who finished 31 points clear of their neighbours, were made the overwhelming favourites on UK betting sites.

Can United end their season on a high with a 13th FA Cup win, or will Pep Guardiola add another trophy to his impressive haul?

The FA Cup final is broadcast around the world and the Wembley showdown offers plenty markets on betting apps.

Together with BetGoodwin, we’ve built a four-leg bet builder at 40/1 ahead of Saturday’s cup final.

Manchester Derby Equals Goals

Recent Manchester derbies have not been short of goals, with a total of 27 scored in the last seven league and cup meetings. That equates to 3.8 goals per game.

In all seven fixtures, over 2.5 total goals has been a winning bet and with so much firepower on display at Wembley, an eighth successive game with three or more goals scored is possible.

Over 2.5 total goals (2/5) has also paid out in three of the last five FA Cup finals, including last year’s decider which City won 2-1.

City’s 3-1 win over West Ham, which sealed their sixth title in seven years, was the third time in their last four games in which three or more total goals were scored.

After drawing blanks in back-to-back games against Crystal Palace and Arsenal, United ended the season scoring five times in their final two games.

Tip: Over 2.5 total goals – 2/5 with BetGoodwin

Take Your Seat Early

If the last eight Manchester derbies have taught us anything, it’s to make sure we take our seats early.

In six of those last eight meetings between City and United, a goal has been scored within the first 10 minutes.

The most famous of those came in last season’s FA Cup final when Ilkay Gundogen volleyed past David de Gea with just 13 seconds on the clock.

It is the quickest goal ever scored in the final and recent history suggests we could be in for another early goal.

A goal to be scored within the first 15 minutes is priced at 6/4 with BetGoodwin.

City On The Best Behaviour, Again?

Keeping your discipline in a Manchester derby, or any derby for that matter, can be difficult.

Having a player sent off is the last thing either side wants, so City deserve credit for their discipline in recent derbies.

Pep Guardiola’s side have managed to get through four of the last six Manchester derbies without picking up a single card.

To put that into context, United have had at least one player booked in each of the last 23 derbies.

City, who became the first club to be crowned champions of England in four successive seasons, were shown the fewest yellow cards in the Premier League this season.

The Cityzens received 52 cautions, which works out to be 1.37 per game. United’s 81 yellow cards ranked eighth in the league. Under 1.5 cards for City can be backed at 5/4 on football betting sites.

Foden To Seal Double With A Double

What a season it has been for Phil Foden, who was named the Premier League’s Player of the Season after scoring a career-high 19 league goals.

At the age of 23, Foden has won the league six times, the Champions League once, four League Cups and the FIFA Club World Cup once. On Saturday, he can collect a third FA Cup winners medal.

The ‘Stockport Sniper’ has a very good goalscoring record against United, bagging six goals in his last four starts, including two in City’s 3-1 win at the Etihad in March.

That was the seventh time in the last six derbies in which a City player had scored two or more goals against United.

Foden has a great chance to end another brilliant season on a high and he is 5/1 with BetGoodwin to score a brace in Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Tip: Foden to score 2 or more goals – 5/1 with BetGoodwin
