I'm A Celebrity 2024 Odds: Could 'Special Guest' Vardy Mar Rooney's Jungle Trip?

It has already been an action-packed start to this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! series, and punters have continued to back the favourite on betting sites.

While we are only a few episodes into the 24th series, there have already been tears aplenty, several Bushtucker Trials, packages from home, and an "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" request from Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough during Tuesday night's Trial.

Dean and GK Barry are the only stars of the series to be voted by the public for Trials so far, and the pair will head into battle for a joint challenge on Wednesday night's episode.

Danny's McFlying Start

While GK and Dean may be getting plenty of the show's airtime this year, favourite Danny Jones is into 6/4 from a best price of 7/4 at the beginning of the week.

Punters have clearly been impressed with what they have seen from the cheeky chappy McFly star just a couple of days into jungle life.

Tulisa Contostavlos' price has also been cut, to 10/1 with Bet365 from 14/1 at the beginning of the week, and bettors have also backed Dean.

He is now 16/1 with William Hill, from 25/1, while GK and Alan's odds have increased.

Podcaster GK has drifted slightly to 11/2 with Unibet, from a best price of 5/1 a couple of days ago, while Alan has doubled in price.

The Coronation Street actor is now 14/1 with Bet365, from 6/1 at the start of the week, despite adjusting to camp life well.

What's more, Coleen Rooney has also drifted, with the TV personality now 10/1 with Star Sports, from 7/1.

Special Guest Vardy?

While Coleen's chances of landing the jungle crown haven't improved in recent days, if the market is anything to go by, her time Down Under could take a further turn for the worse if her rival Vardy enters the jungle.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has urged ITV bosses to put her back into the jungle - following her 2017 stint - as a "special guest".

She told The Sun newspaper: "If people really want us to meet up before that, then ITV should get me in that jungle as a special guest.

"What are they scared of? Confrontation? But isn’t that what the show’s all about? It’s about viewing figures.

It's 11/8 on betting apps that Vardy does make a shock appearance during this year's series, but just 8/11 that she doesn't.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Coleen had something written in her contract to prevent a Vardy reunion Down Under, and it would certainly go against the camp's happy dynamic if Vardy rocked up and confronted Rooney.

During her short time in camp, Coleen has been quizzed about her and Vardy's courtroom clash - which the former won after she was sued for libel by Vardy - but she is yet to utter the name "Rebekah" or "Vardy".

She is 6/4 to mention either during her jungle stint.

Dean And GK To Dominate Trials

With the Bushtucker Trials being decided by public vote for now, it looks like both Dean and GK could dominate them for a while.

Dean is the 10/11 favourite to be voted to do the next one, while GK is 11/10.

Both have provided animated reactions during Trials so far, and poor Dean had to quit Tuesday night's challenge early after feeling claustrophobic.

However, that may not help his chances of avoiding such tasks in the future.

Elsewhere, Jane Moore remains the 11/8 favourite to exit the jungle first, followed by Reverend Richard Coles (7/4) - who, along with Maura Higgins, is expected to be a late entrant during the series.
