Evan Ferguson Next Club Odds: Who Could Sign The Irish Star?
Evan Ferguson has found game time hard to come by this season and the best betting sites have opened a market on where he will end up next.
Recent reports state that Brighton are ready to loan Ferguson out in January so he can get more minutes under his belt.
With Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro ahead of him in the pecking order under Fabian Hurzeler, Ferguson has only started one Premier League game this term.
The Republic of Ireland international still has a bright future ahead of him, and Brighton hope that he still has plenty to contribute at the Amex Stadium.
In the short-term, though, we will probably see Ferguson donning another club’s shirt from January onwards.
Who will win the race to sign the 20-year-old on a temporary basis? Let’s take a look at some of the striker’s suitors.

West Ham Top Of Market Ahead Of January
West Ham will hope that Monday’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle United belatedly kick-starts their season.
The Hammers signed Niclas Fullkrug over the summer, but he has played just 63 minutes in the Premier League due to injury and concerns over whether he is the right fit.
West Ham are therefore likely to be in the market for another centre-forward in January and Ferguson looks to be one of their top targets.
The Irons are currently the favourites to sign him according to the betting apps, which are offering a best price of Evens.
Juventus Could Offer Serie A Option
Juventus are one of only three unbeaten teams in Europe’s top five leagues along with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
But while that latter duo are top of the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 respectively, Juve are way down in sixth spot in Serie A. That is because they have drawn seven out of their 13 games to date.
Juventus are struggling to turn possession into goals, at least in relation to some of the other teams towards the top of the division and Ferguson would bring some much-needed firepower to Thiago Motta’s squad, with Juve priced at 6/4 to acquire his services.
Hoops Could Throw Hat Into The Ring
Celtic are top of the Scottish Premiership and in a good position as they bid to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League.
But that does not mean Brendan Rodgers will not want to strengthen his squad in the winter window, which is set to open for business in just over a month’s time.
Celtic are already being linked with Ferguson, with Rangers also thought to be among the striker’s admirers.
Brighton may prefer to loan him outside the Premier League, so that could give the Hoops an advantage. Celtic are available at 5/2 with football betting sites.
Leeds Looking To Bolster Attack
After losing the Championship play-off final to Southampton last season, Leeds United are targeting automatic promotion to the Premier League this season.
Only Norwich City and Middlesbrough have scored more goals than Leeds, yet Daniel Farke’s team still appear to be on the lookout for another frontman.
They are priced at 5/2 to sign Ferguson, but the Republic of Ireland international would probably prefer to stay in the top flight rather than dropping down into the Championship, even for just a few months.
Brentford In The Frame To Land Striker
Brentford lost their talisman Ivan Toney last summer, as the England international accepted a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
It's testament to Thomas Frank’s managerial acumen that the Bees have barely missed their former top scorer, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wisse stepping up in Toney’s absence.
Still, another forward would not go amiss, particularly as Kevin Schade and Igor Thiago have yet to prove themselves in the Premier League.
Ferguson is adept at holding the ball up, which was one of Toney’s major attributes too. The question is whether Brighton would be willing to loan the striker to Brentford, but you can get odds of 3/1 on this move happening.
