NFL Week 9 Picks: The Panel's Picks For Monday Night Football - Bucs @ Chiefs

Week 9 concludes with the final game as Tampa Bay travel to Kansas City to face the 7-0 Chiefs.

The best UK betting sites have the best odds on the most popular markets for the Monday Night Football.

Buccaneers Vs Chiefs Pick: Go For The Over

Tampa Bay have shown an ability to score points despite being without Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.

The Buccaneers racked up over 400 yards of offense in Atlanta last week and scored 26 points.

Tampa yielded 31 in the loss and 41 the week before that against Baltimore and yards and points will be there for the taking for Kansas City.

The Chiefs have averaged 27 points a game in the previous three weeks despite leaving opportunities on the table.

Tampa Bay allow 5.2 yards a carry this season, and the Chiefs will pursue the run enough to set up the pass and the points.

For that reason The Panel takes the Over of 47.5 points as their first Monday Night Football prediction.

NFL Week 9 Monday Night Football Predictions:

Buccaneers Vs Chiefs Prediction: Hunt On The Run

Though Tampa Bay have been hard to beat recently, their run defense has been porous all season, averaging 5.2 yards per carry.

This is a stat which won't have been missed by Kareem Hunt, who has been pretty good in his second stint with the Chiefs.

He is averaging 77 yards a game and will be facing a defense more leaky than the one he saw in New Orleans when he ran for 102 yards on 27 carries.

Expect Hunt to get around 25 carries on Monday night as they use the workhorse mentality.

Hunt is projected to have a good night against the Bucs, but it will not be easy and our second pick is for the Chiefs running back to eclipse the 75-yard mark for the third time in 2024.

Buccaneers Vs Chiefs Preview: Baker To Take Aerial Route

Even with all the injuries they have, Tampa have chosen to throw the ball a lot, so expect the Bucs to keep taking the aerial route on Monday night.

Baker Mayfield has attempted 33+ passes in five of the past six weeks, including 50 last week in Atlanta, which has led to three consecutive 300+ yard efforts.

Kansas City ranks in the middle regarding passing yards but is in the top five in the league in rushing defense.

It's likely Mayfield will have to go airborne once more, so the final pick is for him to throw for at least 237 yards.

The Panel Pick 3: Baker Mayfield Over 236.5 Passing Yards - 10/11 With Ladbrokes
