Next Newcastle United Manager Odds: Rose Favourite To Replace Howe
Newcastle's season of mediocrity continued with a 4-2 defeat at Brentford to keep the pressure on manager Eddie Howe.
Howe's side are now without a win in their last four games and they find themselves 12th in the table ahead of their home game with Leicester on Saturday.
Before the season began, hopes were high that the side could challenge for a top-four finish, especially with no European football to distract the Magpies.
There is still time to turn things around before now and the end of the season, but will Howe be afforded time to do so?
The best betting sites will continue to update their next Newcastle manager odds just in case the side continue to stumble on the pitch.

Time For Rose To Blossom?
Marco Rose first gained recognition as a manager with RB Salzburg, where he secured two Austrian Bundesliga titles.
This success set the stage for his return to Germany, where he has managed Borussia Monchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and now RB Leipzig.

Known for his high-energy, attacking style, Rose achieved notable results with Dortmund and has brought the same dynamic approach to his hometown club, Leipzig.
Under the 48-year-old's leadership, Leipzig have positioned themselves as genuine top-four challengers this season, bringing Rose to the attention of a number of Premier League sides.
Newcastle would welcome a manager of Rose's capability and he is the 8/5 favourite to replace Howe.
Hutter Still In The Frame To Replace Howe
Adi Hutter has been one of Europe's most exciting managers in recent years, drawing comparisons to the likes of Oliver Glasner, Xabi Alonso and Thomas Tuchel with his style of play.
The 54-year-old led AS Monaco to second place in Ligue 1 last season with his attractive brand of attacking football, having initially achieved success with RB Salzburg, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach.
It was current Toon sporting director Paul Mitchell who appointed him as AS Monaco head coach.
Mitchell is believed to be a big fan of the Austrian manager's tactical approach, so it's no surprise that Hutter's odds are 7/4 to be the Magpies' next boss.
Potter In The Pack
Graham Potter stormed up the managerial ranks after impressive spells at Swansea and Brighton.
However, he came unstuck as Chelsea boss with his tenure lasting just seven months.
He was the Blues' first managerial appointment following Todd Boehly's takeover and oversaw a record £323m outlay in the 2023 January transfer window.
Out of work for over 18 months, Potter has taken plenty of time to reset since leaving Stamford Bridge in April 2023 and recently told The Telegraph: "I’m excited to hear what the opportunities are and I’ll take each one and judge it on its merits."
He is currently 2/1 with betting apps to take over from Howe on Tyneside and should he be able to recapture his Brighton form, he could be a wise appointment.
Allegri Offers Success Appeal
The Magpies may need to hire a manger who can take the club from pretenders to serial winners and bringing in an experienced manager like Massimiliano Allegri could be the final piece of the jigsaw.
The 57-year-old Italian has proved himself at the highest level and knows what it takes to win major trophies.
He has won multiple league titles during his time in Serie A with Juventus and AC Milan and could prove to be an upgrade on Howe as the Saudi owners look to take the club to the next level with the huge funds available to them.
Allegri is 9/4 for the role on football betting sites.
Iraola Deserves To Be Considered
Guiding Bournemouth to eighth place in the Premier League makes Andoni Iraola a viable candidate for the Newcastle job.
Iraola took over as Cherries boss in the summer of 2023 and secured a creditable 12th place finish, with a 3-0 win at Manchester United one of the stand-out wins.
Many thought that first season was a fluke, but a 2-1 home win over the defending champions Manchester City served as a reminder of Iraola's quality.
Iraola is 7/1 to replace Howe on Tyneside.
Mancini To Make England His Home Again
Roberto Mancini is a serial winner that any club would want as their manager. As a player and as a manager at club and international level, Mancini has been a winner.
As a player, he won Serie A with Sampdoria and Lazio. As a manager, he won three Scudettos with Inter and the Premier League with Manchester City, while leading Italy to Euro 2020 glory is his greatest achievement.
Since then, Mancini had a spell in charge of Saudi Arabia but is available now.
The link between the country and Newcastle might help pave the way for a manager of Mancini's calibre to take the Newcastle job, if it became available.
Mancini is 12/1 to be Howe's replacement.
Time Might Be Right For Frank To Leave Bees
Thomas Frank continues to work wonders at Brentford and after a disappointing 16th-place finish last term, the Bees are flying high in ninth.
Frank won't be staying at Brentford forever and there is every chance he is looking at his next adventure now.
Newcastle would be regarded by many as a move to a bigger club for Frank, who is 5/1 in this market.
Other names on the market include Roberto De Zerbi (3/1), Maurizio Sarri (14/1), Michel Sanchez (9/1) and Jose Mourinho (18/1).
