New Year's Day BTTS Tips: Kickstart 2025 With 10/1 Acca on Wednesday

The Panel struck the crossbar with the final both teams to score tips column of 2024, but hopefully they will hit the back of the net on New Year’s Day.

Kilmarnock’s hopes of scoring at Hibernian went up in smoke when Danny Armstrong was shown a second yellow card in the 63rd minute.

A 1-0 defeat meant The Panel missed out on ending the year on a high with an 11/2 acca, but Wednesday is an opportunity to get 2025 off to a flying start.

Backing all of the both teams to score predictions on New Year’s Day would pay a shade over 10/1 in a four-fold acca with betting sites.

BTTS Tips: Luton Vs Norwich

Norwich made us sweat in the early kick-off against QPR on Sunday, but a late equaliser from Marcelino Nunez secured a 1-1 draw for the Canaries and gave The Panel hope heading into the 3pm fixtures.

That was City’s fourth successive match involving goals at both ends and they head to Kenilworth Road with a 4-2 victory over Luton fresh in their memories from the end of November.

The Hatters have scored in every home game this season and with only two teams having a better BTTS record in front of their own fans than Rob Edwards’ side, we could have another high-scoring encounter on our hands like the one from just over four weeks ago.

Six of Norwich’s last nine games on the road have ticked the BTTS box, so this match kickstarts The Panel’s acca at 8/11 with football betting sites

Both Teams To Score Odds: Wycombe Vs Exeter

Wycombe’s promotion hopes suffered a setback on Sunday when their 19-game unbeaten run ended with a 2-1 defeat at Charlton.

To add insult to injury a stoppage-time winner in Wales saw Wrexham beat Wigan and shove the Chairboys out of the automatic promotion spots, so they will be keen to get back on the victory path.

Matt Bloomfield’s men, though, remain one of the best both teams to score performers in League One at 64% - the third highest in the division - and encouragingly there were plenty of goals when these sides met at the start of December.

In a 2-2 draw at St James Park, both teams had found the net inside half an hour and hopefully there will be a similar outcome on Wednesday.

Exeter have scored and conceded in four successive matches, including an incredible 4-4 draw at home to Crawley, from 4-1 down at half-time, so The Panel are on board this match at Evens with Bet365.

BTTS Predictions: Crawley Vs Charlton

Staying in League One for the next of New Year’s Day BTTS tips, Crawley have been involved in a couple of high-scoring matches in recent weeks.

The aforementioned thriller in Devon came two weeks after a 4-3 defeat at Peterborough, so fans are certainly getting their money’s worth under new manager Rob Elliott even if they have only taken one point from their last four matches.

Charlton struggled in the first half of the season, but they are launching a late bid for the play-offs on the back of a five-game unbeaten run which included Sunday’s superb victory against Wycombe.

Their last defeat came in a midweek match at home to Wednesday’s opponents Crawley, who struck 10 minutes from time to post a 2-1 victory.

A similar outcome would do very nicely and can be backed at 4/5 with Unibet as the third leg of Wednesday’s both teams to score predictions.

BTTS Acca: Morecambe Vs Tranmere

The last leg of New Year’s Day both teams to score tips acca comes from the League Two relegation battle involving bottom-of-the-table Morecambe and Tranmere.

Rovers have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine successive matches and four of their last five outings have resulted in goals at both ends.

Worryingly, Morecambe have scored just once in their previous five outings, a 1-0 Boxing Day victory at relegation rivals Carlisle, who went down to 10 men moments after the visitors took the lead just after the hour mark.

Those stats may not be a ringing endorsement for both teams to score, but these sides played out a 2-2 draw at the start of December and The Panel expect The Shrimps to create chances against limited opposition.

Betting apps have priced this match at 17/20 for goals at both ends.
