Next Tottenham Manager Odds: Graham Potter Favourite For Spurs Role
Tottenham became the first team to lose to Ipswich Town in the Premier League this season.
The 2-1 defeat leaves Spurs tenth in the table, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool and increases the pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou.
Will the Australian still be in charge when Spurs travel to Manchester City in their first game after the international break?
Football betting sites have their doubts and will continue to monitor the situation in the coming days.
Postecoglou, who continues to remind everyone that he always wins a trophy in his second season at a club, might not have the time to win a trophy in his second season at Spurs.
"We didn't do enough to win the game," Postecoglou said after losing to Ipswich.
"It's down to me. I'm not getting consistent performances I need out of the players. That's something I'll need to address. We can't give ourselves mountains to climb at this level."
So, who are the leading candidates to replace Postecoglou? Let's take a closer look.

Potter Heads Market
Former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter is still waiting for the right opportunity to get back into management.
Out of work for over 18 months, Potter has taken plenty of time to reset since leaving Stamford Bridge in April 2023.
Potter was mooted as the perfect candidate for Spurs before Postecoglou arrived. But should Ange-ball continue to deliver mixed results, he is currently 8/1 to land the role at the second time of asking.

De Zerbi Waiting In The Wings
Roberto De Zerbi remains a manager on the wish lists of many top clubs.
His style of play would appeal to the Tottenham faithful, while the Italian would relish the opportunity to test himself at a higher level.
De Zerbi departed the Amex Stadium at the end of last season before taking up the managerial reigns at Marseilles, so if Spurs decide to call time on Ange, they will have to lure him back from France.
Marseille dropped to third in Ligue 1 after losing their last two home games. A 3-1 loss to Auxerre has increased the pressure on the Italian.
Betting apps currently offer a price of 8/1 for De Zerbi to replace Postecoglou.
Silva Thriving In West London
Fulham go into the third international break of the season seventh in the Premier League after back-to-back wins over Brentford and Crystal Palace.
A lot of that credit goes to manager Marco Silva for assembling a solid squad that now includes Emile Smith Rowe, who joined the club from Arsenal in the summer.
Silva had developed a reputation for changing clubs regularly, having five jobs in five and a half years between taking charge of Sporting Lisbon and leaving Everton in 2019.
However, he seems to have finally found stability and a home in west London, recently reaching the milestone of 150 matches in charge at Fulham, but is currently 8/1 to make the switch across the capital to become the new Spurs boss.
Frank Open To New Challenge
Brentford boss Thomas Frank (12/1) recently claimed that the Bees are: “one of the best clubs in the world.”
However, speaking on The Sports Agents podcast, the 51-year-old went on to say that managing a big club “would not make my life better” but admitted a new job could be a “challenge I need.”
Brentford finished a comfortable 13 points clear of the relegation spots last season, and they are one of the more entertaining teams to watch this season.
A total of 29 goals have been scored in the six home games the Bees have played at the Gtech Community Stadium. Could Frank say no if Spurs came calling?
Mourinho The Man Again?
Jose Mourinho has made it clear he has unfinished business with the Premier League and it might not be too long before he gets a call to return.
The Portuguese has experience of managing in the league having won the title with Chelsea, before less successful stints with Manchester United, Tottenham and a return to Stamford Bridge.
His press conferences after Fenerbahce matches have been good value recently, but it might not be too long before he is managing in another country.
Mourinho is a serial winner, but his style of play does not go down well with supporters of his teams. He's 12/1 to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Howe And Nagelsmann Unlikely To Land Job
Eddie Howe (12/1) has been linked with Tottenham in the past, but it is arguable whether or not that would represent a step up from Newcastle these days.
Howe appears committed to Newcastle, and although that might change at some point down the line, it is hard to imagine him being the next Tottenham manager.
Julian Nagelsmann (12/1) has his sights on taking Germany to the 2026 World Cup, so he will not be available any time soon.
Gareth Southgate and Julen Lopetegui are both 14/1 to land the job.
