Next Tottenham Manager Odds: Iraola And Frank Favourites To Replace Postecoglou

Tottenham crashed out of the FA Cup following a 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa and betting sites are offering odds on Ange Postecoglou's replacement.
Four days after losing 4-0 at Liverpool to go out of the Carabao Cup, Spurs have now exited another competition to pile more pressure on the manager.
Villa went ahead through Jacob Ramsey after just 58 seconds, and Morgan Rogers doubled the lead in the 65th minutes before Spurs' new signing Mathys Tel pulled one back in stoppage time.
Asked if the result changed anything for him or his players, Postecoglou said: "Nothing really changes.
“We’ve got a couple of weeks now where we don't have midweek games. This group of players has done an unbelievable job for two and a half months. Unbelievable job. Can't praise them highly enough for the effort they put in."
Spurs, who currently languish in 14th in the Premier League after losing 13 of their 24 league games, return to action on Sunday when they host Manchester United.
But Sunday's loss at Villa Park now leaves the Europa League as the only route for the 59-year-old coach to uphold his claim that he always wins a trophy in his second season at a club.
That boast is now looking increasingly optimistic, so using the latest betting odds, we look at the candidates most likely to replace Postecoglou should he leave.
Next Tottenham Manager Odds
Manager | Odds | Probability |
Andoni Iraola | 4/1 | |
Thomas Frank | 4/1 | |
Mauricio Pochettino | 5/1
Kieran McKenna | 8/1 | |
Marco Silva | 12/1 | |
Edin Terzic | 16/1 | |
Massimiliano Allegri | 16/1
Xabi Alonso | 20/1 | |
Steven Gerrard | 20/1 |
Iraola's Achievements Put Him In The Picture
Andoni Iraola's achievements at Bournemouth have been one of the biggest success stories of the season.
Wins over Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest have seen the Cherries move up to seventh in the Premier League and very much eyeing European qualification, while a 2-0 win at Everton secured a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Whether he would want to leave the south coast right now and whether Tottenham is the club to tempt him away is up for debate.
However, the Spaniard is currently 4/1 joint favourite with betting apps to be the next Spurs manager should they decide to make a change.
Frank Open To New Challenge
Thomas Frank, 51, has impressed during six years at Brentford and his record has attracted the attention of top Premier League clubs.
Frank won't be staying at Brentford forever and there is every chance he will soon be looking for his next adventure.
He recently claimed on the Sports Agent podcast that moving to a big club would: "probably not make my life better."
Spurs would certainly be regarded by many as a move to a bigger club for Frank, who is also 4/1 in the next Tottenham manager odds.
Poch On For Sensational Return?
Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as a shock contender to replace Postecoglou as Tottenham manager.
Despite the 52-year-old only being appointed head coach of the USA national team in September, he is now priced at 5/1 to make a return to north London.
His start as USA boss was far from convincing, losing to Mexico in October, though he has since claimed back-to-back wins over Jamaica.
Pochettino was a popular figure at Spurs during his five years with the Lilywhites and despite not lifting silverware, he did take them to the Champions League final in 2019, which they lost to Liverpool.
McKenna To Return To Where It All Began?
Kieran McKenna's connection to Tottenham runs deep, spending seven years in the club’s academy before a hip injury prematurely ended his playing career.
Transitioning to coaching, McKenna became Tottenham’s Head of Academy Performance Analysis and later took charge as head coach of the Under 18s.
His career progressed further at Manchester United, where he served as an assistant under Jose Mourinho. Taking the helm at Ipswich, he led the Tractor Boys to the Premier League on the back of two consecutive promotions.
With his depth of experience, McKenna could prove instrumental in reviving Tottenham’s fortunes and he is currently 8/1 for the job.
Silva Can Take Teams To Next Level
Former Everton boss Marco Silva (12/1) guided Fulham to the Championship title in his first season in charge back in 2022 and they've not looked back since.
Despite being tipped for immediate relegation, he managed to avoid that without any real problems, and the club have instead become an established top-flight outfit.
The Cottagers are currently ninth in the Premier League, nine points ahead of their north London counterparts with Silva showing he has the ability to take a team to the next level, something Tottenham could probably do with.
Terzic Available For A Premier League Move
Edin Terzic is currently 16/1 to succeed Postecoglou at Tottenham, according to BetVictor.
Dortmund fans held Terzic in high regard during his tenure with the Bundesliga giants who he led to last season's Champions League final at Wembley.
Qualification for the Champions League might be almost impossible this season, but to attract a manager who has experience in Europe's elite competition would be a huge coup for the north London club.
Allegri Awaiting Further Offers
Another name linked with the hot seat at Tottenham is former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.
The Italian has already been offered the chance to manage in Saudi Arabia with Al Ahli later this year, but a role in Europe could tempt him.
A defensively astute coach, Allegri could help to combat Spurs' leaky back line, which has conceded 37 league goals so far this season.
This would be a huge test for a man who is used to fighting for league titles and Champions League trophies, but he's 16/1 to rise to the challenge.
Other names in the mix include Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso (20/1) and newly-available Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard (20/1).
