Which Character Will Adam Sandler Bring Back Next?
Adam Sandler super-fans were recently left delighted when the star confirmed he was bringing back one of his most iconic characters, Happy Gilmore, for a second movie.
The movie star is known for many a motion picture, but the 1996 flick was certainly one that put him firmly on the map.
With Happy Gilmore 2 confirmed, talk has since turned to what other roles Sandler might reprise going forward, with several vying for favouritism on betting sites.
The Waterboy To Deliver Sequel?
Just two years after Happy Gilmore putted to victory in the Tour Championship, Sandler took on the role of stuttering, socially-inept 31-year-old water boy Bobby Boucher in The Waterboy.
While the movie had a mixed reaction from critics, it performed well in theatres, grossing more than $190 million worldwide.
Another iconic Sandler character was born, and the actor is just 6/5 on specials betting sites to bring Boucher back for another run.
As well as the release of The Waterboy - which Sandler co-wrote - 1998 was a big year for the star Sandler because of another now-classic film, in the shape of endearing movie The Wedding Singer.
He portrayed the titular crooner Robbie Hart alongside the likes of Drew Barrymore and Christine Taylor, and it is 2/1 for Sandler to bring Hart back to perform at some future nuptials soon.

Billy The Kid No More
But even before Happy Gilmore graced the big screen, Sandler starred in another of his heavily-criticised movies - 1995 motion picture Billy Madison.
Sandler has since said he didn't understand the criticism he received for the film, and admitted it put him off reading reviews of his projects.
Speaking about reviews on The Dan Patrick Show in 2017, he said: "Billy Madison they slammed, and I didn’t expect it.
"I was like, ‘Oh, these guys are going to see I’m trying to do something - I don’t know - connecting to my generation, blah blah blah.' "
Despite this, the movie is now widely considered as one of Sandler's best, and has garnered a cult following.
It is just 4/1 on betting apps that he brings childish 27-year-old Billy back to see how he is getting on as a man in his mid-50s.
What's more, Sandler is 3/1 to reprise his role as Sonny Koufax, the hero of emotional comedy-drama Big Daddy, which dropped in 1999.
Sonny had to grow up quickly when he tried to adopt a five-year-old boy who appeared on his doorstep, while his 50 First Dates character, womanising Henry Roth - who is 5/1 for a comeback - also learnt important life lessons when he met love interest Lucy Whitmore, who was played by Sandler's Wedding Singer co-star Barrymore.
Sandler To Head Back Into Space?
Sandler's latest movie, Spaceman, may have only been released in February, but he is 10/1 on new betting sites to reprise his role as astronaut Jakub Prochazka.
While the actor has made a name for himself in Hollywood for his incredible comedic performances, this Netflix sci-fi drama showcased his more serious side.
While on a vital mission, Prochazka realises what is really important to him back home after leaving his wife and unborn child behind to embark on the job.
Prochazka takes viewers on an emotional journey throughout the movie, but there is plenty of scope for a sequel.
If Happy Gilmore 2 gets Sandler's sequel juices flowing, then the star could also consider reprising the likes of Click character Michael Newman (6/1), or Punch-Drunk Love's Barry Egan (9/1).
