Who Will Headline The 2025 Super Bowl Half-Time Show?
There is still seven months to go until the 2025 Super Bowl, but that hasn't stopped speculation increasing about who might headline next year's half-time show.
Usher produced the goods in the coveted slot earlier this year, and a couple of hours later it was Kansas City Chiefs fans celebrating after their team edged out the San Francisco 49ers to land their fourth Super Bowl.
Next year's American football showpiece will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, the home of NFL side New Orleans Saints, and there is plenty of buzz on new betting sites about who might perform during the interval.
Cyrus' Wrecking Ball Performance
Miley Cyrus emerged as favourite on specials betting sites to perform at next year's Super Bowl just hours after Patrick Mahomes had inspired his Chiefs side to an historic victory - and she is still on top.
Cyrus remains the number one in the market, and her price has been cut after rumours intensified about the possibility of the Wrecking Ball hitmaker performing at the most glamorous sporting event in the world.
The star, who performed a concert before Super Bowl LV in Tampa in 2021, is now into 8/11 to headline the Super Bowl LIX, from 11/8 earlier this year.
Among the speculation, a recent message on MLFootball's X account read: "REPORT: Pop star Miley Cyrus is rumored to be the headline singer for the 2025 Super Bowl half-time show.

While Cyrus missed out on the job last year, with Usher landing the coveted event instead, she would no doubt put on a great show in New Orleans.
But she still faces some strong competition for the 2025 slot.

Taylor And Travis Super Bowl Reunion?
One of the big off-field talking points of the last NFL season was Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift.
Their romance grew throughout the season, just as the Chiefs' season seemed to improve week by week all the way to a triumphant Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
Thanks to her romance with Kelce, Swift is said to have boosted the NFL and the Chiefs' brand value, particularly among young women, and helped to increase sales in her man's replica jerseys.
Swift's Eras Tour is due to end in December, which is perfect timing ahead of February's Super Bowl.
It's even been claimed that Swift headlining next year's half-time show could see advertising records at the spectacle smashed to pieces.
An NFL business insider recently told The US Sun: "The ads could reach a cost of $8.5 million each, an increase of $1 million or more.
"This year, it has been estimated that her presence helped generate a lot of money, estimated between $700-750 million.
"If she is the main artist of next year’s half-time show, it’s expected to generate more than $1.3-1.5 billion."
Swift has reportedly turned down the chance to headline the last two Super Bowls due to other commitments, and there is no guarantee she would want to play next year's event.
But she is the second favourite at Evens on betting apps to land the gig and she could be the ideal candidate.
Wayne Wants Half-Time Show
One star who is unlikely to reject the chance to headline the Super Bowl half-time show is Lil Wayne.
Next year's spectacle looks perfect for the rapper, who was born in New Orleans, and he has made no secret of the fact he would love to headline the event.
Speaking to Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks, he said: "[I want it] just as bad as I wanted to see my name at the top of that list when I was whatever age, it was that I would bust into that office and get that Billboard magazine."
Wayne, who is 2/1 third favourite on new betting sites, has also admitted he is "praying" the NFL offer him the gig.
Speaking recently on the 4HUNNID podcast, Weezy said: "I will not lie to you. I have not got a call or nothing.
"But we are praying. We praying. We keeping our fingers crossed. I’m working hard. I’mma make sure this next album and everything I do is killer. I wanna just make it hard for them not to holler at the boy."
Others who could be in contention include British-Albanian pop star Dua Lipa (4/1) - who added the Friday night of Glastonbury to her headline show experience last month.
Drake (5/1), pop superstars Ariana Grande (7/1) and Olivia Rodrigo (12/1) are outsiders to be asked to perform at the half-time show for Super Bowl LIX.
