Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League game.
In four seasons at Celtic, McClair made 204 appearances in all competitions and scored 126 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.
His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, McClair became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.
Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season and will pass expert judgement with his score predictions on all games whilst The Panel team will examine the best betting sites to find the best odds should his predictions hit the back of the net.
Watch him discuss the games below and keep an eye on how Brian and The Panel get on each week this season.
Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool, Saturday, 12:30pm
Selhurst Park will host the first Premier League clash of the weekend as lowly Crystal Palace host high-flying Liverpool and the stakes couldn’t be higher for both.
Palace are desperate for points, sitting perilously close to the relegation zone, while Liverpool will be looking to maintain their impressive start to the season and solidify their spot at the top of the table.
With both teams heading into this game in contrasting form, this promises to be an intriguing battle.
Brian says: "Palace have won just one of their last 14 Premier League games against Liverpool and conceded more goals against them than any other opponent with 69.
"Mo Salah has scored in Liverpool's last three away games and will be looking to make it four on the spin for the second time in his Liverpool career.
"I think there will be goals in this game, but unfortunately for the home fans, I think they will be going against Palace."
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool - 17/2 With Betovo
Man City Vs Fulham, Saturday, 3pm
Manchester City are looking to stay in touch at the top of the table as they sit second with 14 points from six matches, having won four and drawn their last two.
Despite a solid start, there are questions about how they will adapt following a significant blow to their midfield after Rodri sustained a serious knee injury that will keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.
Visitors Fulham sit sixth with 11 points from six games and Marco Silva’s side have had an excellent start to the campaign and will be quietly optimistic about their chances of securing a European place this season.
Brian says: “You have to say that the last two fixtures that City have had in Arsenal and Newcastle have not been the easiest for them.
"Fulham are unbeaten in their last five, having begun the season with an opening day defeat at Old Trafford, and had a great win away at Forest last week.
"Unfortunately for them, City are unbeaten in their previous 16 meetings in all competitions in this fixture and will be looking to become the fourth team to go 50 plus home games without defeat, which I think they will do."
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 2: Man City 3-0 Fulham - 13/2 With Betovo
Aston Villa Vs Man Utd, Sunday, 2pm
Aston Villa host Manchester United at Villa Park in Sunday’s standout Premier League clash and both teams will be eager to bounce back and claim what could be a crucial victory.
Villa’s two-match winning league run came to an end last week when they drew 2-2 with Ipswich Town before a sensational 1-0 home win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are struggling after suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham, which extended their winless streak to three games in all competitions.
Brian says: “This game does everything to suggest it should be a home win, however, Manchester United's record against Villa is pretty exceptional.
"They won both games in this fixture last season and I'm going to go against the odds and go for an away win here.
"I know United have only scored five in total this season in the Premier League, but I'm going to back them to score a couple in order to take the points."
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 3: Aston Villa 1-2 Man Utd - 17/2 With Betovo
