France Vs New Zealand Betting Tips: 3 Autumn International Selections

For the first time since the opening game of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, France and New Zealand will meet in what will be the penultimate fixture of 2024 for both teams.

Rugby betting sites are splitting the teams by just 1.5 points after New Zealand last weekend won their first of three games as an underdog this year, whilst France’s immortality on home soil was shattered during the Six Nations Championship.

Les Bleus have the inferior form having been thrashed at home to Ireland (17-38) earlier this year - in addition to that famous draw with Italy (13-13), whereas the All Blacks return to Paris having been too good for Ireland on foreign soil.

We’re not bold enough to get off the fence for this one, but will be expecting the All Blacks to control at least some of this game, whilst our France v New Zealand best bets preview also identifies one selection from each team for the try scorer markets.

France v New Zealand Predictions:

France Vs New Zealand Odds: All Blacks Continue Amazing HT Streak

The All Blacks are looking to lead at half-time for the 11th successive game. That’s right!

Despite dropping games twice to South Africa and even to the Pumas during the southern winter, Scott Robertson’s side have gone into the sheds at the break the better side on 10 straight occasions since the end of their home series against England.

The All Blacks have been by far a better side before the half-time break than following it, registering a try difference of +20 in the opening 40 minutes compared with just +2 following it.

As a result of their bulk scoring in the first 40, the first half has been the highest scoring in 12 of the last 15 matches played by the All Blacks - an incredible break from the norm that usually sees more points scored after half-time.

That could also be a nifty bet on betting apps at slightly better than even money, but in this instance we’re going to stick with the All Blacks to lead at half-time.

France Vs New Zealand Prediction: A Star On The Rise In 2024

We were very keen on headlining Emilien Gailleton as a value try scoring pick until finding out he will be starting on the bench this weekend, which simply makes it too risky as he won’t be guaranteed ample game time.

Winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey, who was on the scoresheet in three consecutive 2023 Rugby World Cup appearances, recorded his first international double since that tournament against Japan last weekend.

Tries against Scotland in both the Six Nations and the Summer Nations Series illustrate that he can step up against bigger opposition and deliver for his country, whilst he came into this series with five tries in his last five Top 14 games for Bordeaux.

He ended up on the winning team in 15 of his last 16 professional appearances, so looks an especially appealing prospect at 2.30 with Bet365 if you fancy France to edge this contest out.

France v New Zealand Prediction 2: Louis Bielle-Biarrey To Score A Try - 2.30 With Bet365

France Vs New Zealand Betting: All Blacks Winger Can’t And Won’t Stop Scoring

All Blacks winger Will Jordan described his own individual performance against Ireland last weekend as “the one I’m most pleased about” as it was both one of his most challenging yet and one of his most successful as a full-back.

He registered a team-best 16 kick carries, catching the ball remarkably cleanly in the Dublin rain, and was rewarded for his output by being on the end of a string of passes to deliver the match-winning try

For the sixth time in his seven-season career, Jordan has recorded tries in four consecutive professional matches for either his franchise or his national team, adding tries against both England and Ireland to a pair of try scoring appearances against the Australians.

Such long streaks illustrate just how hard it is to stop him when he gets going!

The missing piece of the puzzle is a try against France. He missed out in last year’s World Cup match and will therefore be personally driven to avenge that performance.
