England's win over Serbia on Sunday may not have been pretty but it does leave them one victory away from qualification for the round of 16 heading into Thursday’s clash with Denmark (5pm, BBC One).
Jude Bellingham's header was enough for the Three Lions to see off the Serbs 1-0 and football betting sites expect Gareth Southgate’s men to build on that success in Frankfurt.
Bookmakers price England at 3/4 to win their opening two games at a European Championship for the first time ever at the expense of a Denmark team in need of a win after a frustrating 1-1 draw with Slovenia.
Much like England, the Scandinavians struggled to capitalise on their dominance as they let a one-goal lead slip and don't look as potent as they did in the last European Championships.
The Panel are leaning towards a repeat of England's nervy win over Denmark in the semi-finals of Euro 2020 as part of their best bets for the Group C fixture.
Denmark vs England Tips: Three Lions Ready To Grind It Out
England threatened to run away with the game against Serbia early on, opening up their opponents consistently in a positive first half an hour.
Bellingham’s goal looked like it might be the first of many before the Three Lions went into their shell, ending the game having registered fewer shots on goal than Serbia and having just 12 touches in the opposition box.
Given the attacking talent Southgate has at his disposal, it was an underwhelming display, and they may face a tough time creating chances against Denmark.
The Danes will play a similar defensive system to Serbia with three at the back and they don’t tend to give much away, their 5.5 expected goals against being only slightly higher than England’s xGA (5.2) in qualifying.
England haven’t conceded a goal in their last five group stage matches at the Euros and did a good job of restricting Serbia on Sunday with John Stones and Marc Guehi proving an effective central defensive partnership.
Betting sites are anticipating a low-scoring game with the likes of under 2.5 goals and both teams not to score odds-on across the board.
The Panel don’t think there’s much value to be had in the goals market alone, but are willing to pair under 3.5 goals up with an England win.
Denmark’s struggles against Slovenia were nothing new for a nation that crashed out of the 2022 World Cup in the group stage and struggled at times in qualifying, losing to the likes of Northern Ireland and Kazakhstan.
Recent meetings between these sides have tended to be tight, tactical affairs, with England needing extra time to see off Denmark in the semi-finals three years ago.
The Panel expect a similar kind of game with England’s individual quality likely to be enough to win them the game and a place in the round of 16.

Bellingham Bound To Get Involved
Perhaps the biggest positive for England, aside from the result against Serbia, was the performance of Bellingham.
Having looked a little leggy for Real Madrid towards the end of the season, the 21-year-old was far sharper on Sunday and has stolen a march on his rivals in the betting to be the Player of the Tournament.
Bellingham had more touches than anyone else in an England shirt in their opening game and demonstrated his predatory instincts to bag his fourth international goal having netted 23 times for Real last season.
Southgate gives Bellingham a license to get forward in this system, and he has tended to deliver. In his last 13 appearances for England, the ex-Birmingham City youngster has managed to register at least one shot on target on nine occasions and scored four times.
The Panel think there’s a bit of value in Bellingham’s price to have a shot on target against Denmark with 10Bet offering him at 21/20.
The Panel Tip 2: Jude Bellingham Over 0.5 Shots On Target – 21/20 With 10Bet

Eriksen Hoping To Pull The Strings
We may have already witnessed the feel-good moment of these Euros in Christian Eriksen’s goal against Slovenia.
Given the distressing scenes involving Eriksen at Euro 2020, it’s remarkable to see him back on the pitch and performing at a high level for Denmark.
Manchester United fans haven’t seen the best of the 32-year-old but he was the focal point of Denmark’s attack on Sunday, creating seven chances and registering five attempts.
Denmark will look to get Eriksen on the ball as often as possible and his total pass line on betting apps doesn’t reflect how heavily involved he’s likely to be.
The Danes won’t see quite as much of the ball against England as they did in the Slovenia game, when Eriksen attempted 64 passes, completing 51.
Bet365 only count pass attempts, not just completed passes, for this particular player market and it’s worth noting Eriksen hasn’t attempted less than 64 passes in his last four games for Denmark at major tournaments.
The Panel are happy to take over 42.5 Eriksen passes for their final bet.
The Panel Tip 3: Over 42.5 Passes From Christian Eriksen – 5/6 With bet365
