Kylie Minogue Tension 2025 UK Tour Odds: Who Will Be Named Support Acts?

Kylie Minogue fans are counting the days until her Tension 2025 UK tour kicks off next year.

The pop princess is yet to confirm who will be supporting her on the 14-date run of gigs, but there is a competitive market on betting sites featuring several of her past collaborators, and a couple of connections close to home.

Kylie's upcoming Tension Tour will support her 16th studio album of the same name, and her upcoming LP Tension II.

The Can't Get You Out of My Head hitmaker initially announced 11 UK Tour dates for her upcoming tour, and she has since added another three - in London, Birmingham and Glasgow - following phenomenal demand.

It will be the star's first UK run of shows since her 2022 Disco: Guest List Edition Tour, which supported her 2020 album Disco, and there will be plenty of potential suitors for the support spots.

Jessie And Jade In Support

Jessie Ware is the early 6/4 favourite on specials betting sites to support Kylie on the Tension Tour.

The pair are no strangers to one another, having collaborated on 2021 tune Kiss of Life, and last year the pair performed the song on stage at Radio 2 In The Park in Leicester.

Kylie and Jessie clearly get on well, and the latter is a big enough act to support her pal in big arenas.

Speaking to NME in 2023 about her friendship with the ex-Neighbours actress, Jessie said: "I love her and regard her as a friend - but Kylie is Kylie!"

Another solo star who has previously been complimentary about Kylie is Jade Thirlwall.

The Little Mix singer recently launched her solo career to much acclaim, and the ideal next step could be to support a pop megastar like Kylie.

She is 13/8 to do so, and earlier this year, Jade described Kylie's 2003 tune Slow as one of the greatest.

Jade told MTV UK: "I honestly think that's one of the best pop songs of all time. You can fight me on it, I don’t care. I think nobody...when I say nobody, I mean me, can write a song like that.

"I’ve tried in many sessions to use it as a reference. It’s one of those songs that is like a moment in time."

Sophie On Kylie's Dancefloor?

But if Kylie wants to play it safe on her Tension Tour by picking a star who has supported her before, then she could do far worse than plump for Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

The Murder on the Dancefloor hitmaker is 2/1 on betting apps to get the call.

She previously supported the All the Lovers singer at Blenheim Palace as part of her Summer 2019 festival tour.

Since then, Sophie has had somewhat of a resurgence after her Murder on the Dancefloor tune re-entered the top 10.

It occurred after the song was featured in the final scene of 2023 movie Saltburn, where Barry Keoghan's character danced naked to the tune.

The resurgence prompted Sophie to be interviewed on UK and US TV about the song attracting a brand-new audience, and being used for such an out-there scene.

If Sophie is in contention to open for Kylie on the Tension Tour, then Nina Nesbitt (7/1) and Ana Matronic (17/2) could be, too, after they both supported the Australian star on her Summer Tour five years ago.

Another star who might be in the conversation is Olly Alexander.

Like Jessie, the 6/1 chance has previously collaborated with Kylie on her Disco: Guest List Edition album, which was a re-release of her 15th studio album, 2020's Disco.

Kylie and Olly's solo project Years & Years duetted on 2021 tune A Second to Midnight, which was the lead single of Kylie's reissue album Disco: Guest List Edition.

Real Groove, a remix with Dua Lipa, also appeared on the record and the Glastonbury headliner is 9/4 to support Kylie on tour next year, but her career may have outgrown the opportunity.

Minogue Sisters Reunion?

One opening act Kylie fans would absolutely love to see next year is her sister Dannii Minogue.

The Australian star is 4/1 to support her sibling, and if that were to happen it could even result in a collaboration when Kylie comes out for her main set later in the night.

Dannii was one of Kylie's special guests for her A Kylie Christmas gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2015 and 2016.

What's more, she recently spoke about appearing on stage with Kylie when the star resumed her Showgirl: Greatest Hits world tour, which she had paused in 2005 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Speaking on Australian TV show Take 5 with Zan Rowe', an emotional Dannii said: "So, cut forward to her being able to get back on stage, it was the homecoming tour, she said, 'Will you jump on stage with me?' I said, 'Sure, I'd love to.'

"The joy when we came out on stage, from the audience, was unbelievable.

"You could hear the roar. We felt that the whole time, like getting her better, we felt their love and support was there. Waves of it."

If Kylie wants to keep things close to home then enlisting Dannii's help next year could be the perfect move, and how about Jason Donovan?

The ex-couple previously starred on Australian soap Neighbours together and famously duetted on 80s song Especially for You.

Jason, who is 8/1 to support Kylie on tour next year, lives in London now, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him rock up on the star's stage at London's The O2.

He is 10/1 to do so next year, while it is 6/1 that Dannii is one of the opening acts for her sister in the capital.
