Tonight's Nations League Predictions:

The Nations League is back on the agenda this Friday and betting sites are ready for the games to kick-off all over Europe.

Big guns like Germany, England and Italy all take to the field as they look to make moves in their respective groups.

The matches also provide punters with one of the final opportunities to have a look at national teams in competitive action before they decide who to use their 2022 World Cup free bets on.

Below, we’ve three top tips for you and the best odds on the biggest games on Friday night.

Finland vs Romania, Friday 7.45pm

Finland and Romania meet on Friday night at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki with both sides locked in battle to avoid relegation from League B of the Nations League.

The Finns took four points from their opening two group games, but have since fell to back-to-back defeats - losing to Friday’s opponents Romania and following that up with a 3-2 reserve away at Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Meanwhile, that victory over Finland remains the only time Romania have grabbed points in the Nations League this term.

Edward Iordănescu’s men have lost all their other games, and their head coach will be particularly worried about the 3-0 battering Romania received at home from Montenegro last time out.

The visitors’ defence has been porous of late, as Romania have conceded six goals in four Nations Games to date, and that’s where Finland’s top marksman can pounce.

Teemu Pukki has been Norwich City’s talisman for a long time now and he has transferred that form to the international stage.

Pukki has netted 36 times in 106 appearances for Finland, with six of those goals coming in his last 10 internationals. Football betting sites have him rated at 17/10 to score at any stage in this game, and it a decent punt to whack in your betslip.

Tip: Finland vs Romania - Teemu Pukki to Score Anytime - - 17/10 With 888sport

Italy vs England, Friday, 7:45pm

Harry Kane

The euphoria of the Euro 2020 win quickly vanished for Italy after their shock World Cup qualification exit against North Macedonia.

Unbeaten in five games against England, Italy hold the psychological edge over their visitors and should fancy their chances.

England have a bronze Nations League medal of their own after finishing in third place in the inaugural edition, but they are yet to win a game in the UNL this time around (D2, L2).

Unlike their hosts, England will be off to Qatar in November, but after a humiliating 4-0 home defeat to Hungary in their last outing in June, there’s work to do.

With both teams struggling for form and goals of late, the draw at 21/10 with betting apps looks the right play here.

Tip: Italy and England to Draw - 21/10 With Bet365

Germany vs Hungary, Friday 7.45pm

After thumping England 4-0 last time out, Hungary will be eager to build on their impressive Nations League form and avoiding defeat would see them remain top of League A, Group 3.

Marco Rossi’s side already have seven points on the board having beaten England home and away, plus a home draw with Germany.

They did suffer defeat to Italy in June, but one would imagine they’ll be heading to the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig with the intention of playing for a draw. Hungary have the grit in defence to restrict Germany and the guile in attack to get on the scoresheet if they need to.

They’ll also be boosted by the fact the Germans have drawn four of their last seven games. UK bookmakers are expecting a home win (1/4) but the best value is to back the visitors to get a draw.

Tip: Germany and Hungary to Draw - 5/1 With Paddy Power
