Transfer season is almost upon us, and Sadio Mane is one of many high-profile players who could be on the move according to UK betting sites.

The Senegal international joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer, much to the disappointment of Reds fans.

His former club missed him, especially in the first half of the season, but Mane underwhelmed at the Allianz Arena - so much so that Bayern are considering cashing in already.

Thomas Tuchel is now in charge of the German giants. He will not have full control of the club’s transfer policy in the upcoming window, but reports suggest he has given the green light to Mane being sold.

So, where will the forward be plying his trade at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign? Let’s consider some of the options.

Will Sadio Mane Join Chelsea? Explore The Latest Next Club Odds

Relative to expectations, Chelsea have just endured their worst season in Premier League history.

After finishing third in 2021/22 and then spending close to £600m, the Blues would have hoped to - at the very least - challenge for the title. Instead they finished 12th.

Mauricio Pochettino will be their manager next season. He will want to be backed in the transfer market, but Chelsea’s recruitment will surely be much more targeted this time around.

As things stand, they are the 11/2 favourites to land Mane should he leave Bayern Munich.

His Premier League experience could appeal to Chelsea, for whom the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke did not exactly hit the ground running. However, the fact Mane is 31 could count against him.

Sadio Mane's Transfer Dilemma: Juventus And Inter Compete For Liverpool Star

Juventus are next on the list to grab Mane at 10/1 with football betting sites

No strangers to signing experienced players from other European heavyweights, the Bianconeri will be looking to bolster their squad ahead of a potential Serie A title tilt next term.

Dusan Vlahovic, the Juventus striker, has been linked with a switch to Bayern, who have made signing a new centre-forward their priority ahead of the 2023/24 season.

That has led to talk that Mane could be included as a makeweight in the deal. However, according to a recent report by Tutto Juve, the club is not considering bringing Mane to the Allianz Stadium.

Inter provide another Italian option, but odds of 16/1 indicate they are not currently among the frontrunners.

Premier League Comeback? Sadio Mane Next Club Odds Suggest Newcastle Interest

Newcastle will be playing Champions League football for the first time since 2002/03 next season.

Eddie Howe’s team secured a fourth-place finish in the Premier League, and they will now need to bolster their squad in order to compete on multiple fronts from August onwards.

Sadio Mane

Howe has already vowed to be sensible when it comes to recruitment, so we should not expect someone like Neymar to end up at St James’ Park (unless the manager is overruled by his superiors).

Mane, who blends individual talent with hard work and an appreciation of the collective, could be a more realistic target.

The Magpies are given a 12/1 chance of signing the former Liverpool forward. Howe might prefer a younger attacker, but Mane’s Champions League experience means this could be one to watch.

Sadio Mane's Potential Homecoming: Next Club Odds Hint At Liverpool Reunion

There is no denying that Liverpool suffered from Mane’s absence at times in 2022/23.

It is not just that the Senegal international contributed goals and assists on a regular basis, whether deployed on the left, through the middle or even on the right.

Mane was also essential to Liverpool’s approach without the ball. He was often the man who led the press from the front, hassling and harrying opponents and encouraging his team-mates to follow his lead.

It is also true, though, that Liverpool were unfortunate with injuries last season.

Had Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota been available throughout, Mane’s absence might have been less keenly felt.

The return to fitness of that duo, plus Cody Gakpo’s arrival in January, means Liverpool are reasonably well stocked in attack, so a price of 16/1 with Bet365 on a Mane return is not worth taking up.

At the same odds of 16/1, you will find Manchester United and Real Madrid as potential suitors. Given his emotional ties to Liverpool, it's hard to see Mane making the switch to their greatest rivals - even if the move has been mooted in the press

Meanwhile, Madrid may have a vacancy in their striking department as it looks like Karim Benzema could be on his way to join his ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

However, the odds suggest Harry Kane is more likely to fill that void than Mane at the moment.

Sadio Mane Transfer Rumours: Arsenal Emerges As Surprise Contender

Arsenal are listed at 20/1 with betting apps but it is hard to see them entering the race for Mane.

The Gunners have just enjoyed their most successful Premier League season for years on the back of a conscious move towards youth. Signing a 31-year-old Mane would go against that policy.

Moreover, Gabriel Martinelli is well established as Arsenal’s first-choice pick on the left-hand side of the attack, with Leandro Trossard capable of deputising when needs be.

Mane, you feel, would not be content with a place on the bench at the Emirates Stadium, while Arsenal have other recruitment priorities this summer.
