SMU vs. Tulane College Football Odds & Predictions

⭐  Best Bet: Tulane -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM

Tulane may be the best team outside the Power Five Conference group. The Green Wave are 11-1 with their lone loss coming to No. 20 Ole Miss of the SEC. Tulane is led by quarterback Michaell Pratt, who will likely be selected in the upcoming NFL Draft. Behind Pratt and a solid running game, we like Tulane to win and cover the -3.5 spread.

We're going with Tulane -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM. The Green Wave features a balanced offense, with Pratt throwing for 2,168 yards and 21 touchdowns to four interceptions, while running back Makhi Hughes has rushed for 1,246 yards. Pratt is 22nd in the country in yards per pass (8.5), and Hughes is 12th in the country in rushing yards.

The Green Wave also has one of the top rush defenses in the country, ranking seventh in yards allowed per rush (3.0) and seventh in rushing yards allowed (88.2). Given the balance and star power of Pratt and Hughes, we're going to take Tulane to cover.

Best Bet: Tulane -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM

⭐ Michael Pratt Over 187.5 Passing Yards(-115) at FanDuel

Michael Pratt has been a consistent producer at quarterback for Tulane this season. He's completed 66% of his passes this season for 2,168 yards and recorded 21 touchdowns to just four interceptions. We're going to target the over on his low passing yardage prop.

We like  Michael Pratt Over 187.5 Passing Yards(-115) at FanDuel. Pratt has passed for at least 190 yards in eight of 10 games this season. His lower passing yardage prop can be attributed to his low-yardage game last week against UTSA when he had just 125 yards and two touchdowns while completing 9 of 22 passes.

But we're going to back Pratt and what he's been able to do the majority of the season. We're going to take the over on his passing yardage prop of 187.5.

Best Betting Pick: Michael Pratt Over 187.5 Passing Yards(-115) at FanDuel

⭐  Best Bet: Makhi Huges Over 114.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at BetMGM

Makhi Hughes has been one of the top rushers in the country. On the season, Hughes has gained 1,246 yards and scored seven touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry. We like Hughes to have another solid outing in the AAC Championship against SMU.

We're going with Makhi Huges Over 114.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at BetMGM. Hughes has run for at least 115 yards in six of the last eight games of the season.

Tulane has based its offense around Hughes all season. He's had at least 20 carries in eight games this season, including seven of those games in the final eight contests. With Tulane playing for a title, we expect Hughes to get the ball on numerous occasions against an SMU defense that allows 120.7 rushing yards per game.

Best Bet: Makhi Huges Over 114.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at BetMGM
