Bally Sports+ Rollout Lets Fans Stream Hometown Teams
Are you a fan of the Nashville Predators? Or Kansas City Royals and you want to participate in sports betting in Kansas? How about the Tampa Bay Rays or Phoenix Suns? Are you a sports bettor and like to stay on top of as many games as possible?
Soon you’ll be able to use your smartphone to stream games involving your favorite Bally Sports network hometown teams, even if your personal TV lineup doesn’t include these games.
Service Begins In September
Bally Sports+ is launching a streaming service nationwide in September, giving subscribers direct access to live sports in the region where they live. The service includes matchups in the NBA and NHL. For fans, the timing is perfect.
The Sept. 26 launch is occurring just as the NHL and NBA preseasons are getting underway. The puck drops Sept. 24 on the NHL preseason. The NBA’s preseason begins Sept. 30. The regular season for both leagues starts in October.
Free Trial
Viewers wanting to try Bally Sports+ before deciding whether to subscribe can try a free seven-day trial. After that, monthly subscriptions are $19.99. An annual subscription is $189.99. The free trial and paid subscriptions are available by downloading the Bally Sports app.
“Bally Sports+ is not a standalone app, rather an existing product offering within the Bally Sports app and on BallySports.com,” the company says on its website.
Nothing Changes For TV Subscribers
For those who already receive the regional Bally Sports games through their cable television subscription, nothing will change. Those viewers still can watch games on TV or the Bally Sports app without an additional charge. With this new service, however, fans who don’t get Bally Sports in their regional TV lineup can watch the games on mobile devices and other platforms. The streaming service will be available on the web, mobile apps, tablets (iOS, Android), tvOS, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV.
“We are working to add additional platforms soon and will notify fans as more become available,” the company says.
Find Out If You Live In A Bally Sports Region
Bally Sports+ already has been rolled out in some regions. These include Bally Sports Detroit, Bally Sports Florida, Bally Sports Kansas City, Bally Sports Sun and Bally Sports Wisconsin. Viewers in the other Sinclair-owned Bally Sports Regional Networks will be able to subscribe in September.

Working To Get More Baseball
Bally Sports is working with Major League Baseball to expand streaming rights with more MLB teams.
The company now has rights to stream games involving the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays on Bally Sports+.
This is good news for viewers interested in MLB betting as the regular season winds down and the top teams prepare for the World Series, beginning Oct. 28.
