Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 5 NFL Picks

With how bad the Pittsburgh Steelers offense has been, we have no choice but to fade them. Pittsburgh was just blown out 30-6 by the Houston Texans in a game where the offense gained just 225 yards, gave up three sacks and committed two turnovers. That's two games now where the Steelers offense has looked terrible, including the 30-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1.

Kenny Pickett managed to throw for just 114 yards on 15 of 23 pass attempts. Given how the Steelers have yet to develop any offensive consistency this season, we're going to take the Ravens. Baltimore's defense was dominant against an inept Cleveland offense in Week 4's 28-3 win over the Browns.

⭐ My Best Bet: Ravens -4 (-110) FanDuel

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 5 NFL Picks

⭐ Kenny Pickett Under 186.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Much of Pittsburgh's issues on offense can be traced back to Kenny Pickett's struggles. The Pittsburgh quarterback has completed just 60% of his passes for 803 yards and has thrown as many touchdowns (four) as interceptions this season.

We're going with Kenny Pickett Under 186.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Pickett's struggles were on full display last week in the 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans with Pickett completing 15 of 23 passes for only 114 yards and an interception. Pittsburgh's offensive line also struggles to protect Pickett, limiting his passing opportunities. Pickett was sacked three times against Houston and was also sacked five times in the Week 1 loss to the 49ers.

With Pittsburgh still having the same offensive issues that plagued them in Week 1, we're not high on Pickett or the offense. Fade Pickett's passing yardage prop against a Ravens defense that just held Cleveland 121 yards passing and forced three interceptions.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: Kenny Pickett Under 186.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

⭐ Lamar Jackson Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Lamar Jackson's running ability makes him one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the league, and we're going to back Jackson's legs against the Steelers.

We like Lamar Jackson Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Jackson has continued to get more comfortable after missing the end of last season due to injury, his carries have continued to pick up. He ran just six times in Week 1, but since then has registered 12, 14 and nine carries in the next three games. Of those three games, Jackson has run for at least 48 yards in two, including a 101-yard performance in Week 3 versus the Colts.

This will be Jackson's first game against the Steelers since 2021. In his last three meetings against Pittsburgh, he has run for 55, 65 and 70 yards. We're going to ride that trend and take the over on Jackson's rushing yards.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: Lamar Jackson Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel
