BetMGM & NBC Sports Launch Partnership

BetMGM Sportsbook and NBC Sports announced a new partnership for the 2022 NFL season that includes “weekly integrations” on Football Night in America (FNIA) and “content across other NBC Sports platforms.”

NBC to Have Betting and Fantasy Shows

On FNIA, BetMGM will be seen during content such as a weekly segment hosted by Chris Simms as well as one by Matthew Berry for both sports betting and fantasy sports.

During this segment, storylines are highlighted, and betting odds, courtesy of BetMGM, are showcased for the Sunday Night Football game, as well as seen on the FNIA scoring ticker.

Also, BetMGM betting lines that “proved prominent” will be shown on Peacock Sunday Night Football Final, a post-game show produced by NBC Sports.

According to BetMGM and NBC Sports, these are some other highlights of the partnership:

  • Full BetMGM odds and lines in all Berry-hosted content across various NBC Sports platforms, including Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry, weekdays at Noon ET on Peacock, as well as Fantasy Football Pregame with Matthew Berry, Sundays at 11 a.m. ET on Peacock.
  • Additional insights within Berry’s social media platforms throughout the NFL season, as well as providing BetMGM’s platforms with access to Berry for curated boosts.
  • Co-branded content hosted by Chris Simms, including on the Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast, as well on his social platforms throughout the 2022 NFL season and through the 2023 NFL Draft.

NBC Still to Provide Player Features

Will McIntosh, President, NBC Sports Next & Fandango, said, “As we continue to innovate within the rapidly growing sports-betting marketplace, this new partnership with BetMGM will allow NBC Sports to engage more fans across multiple platforms. We’re looking forward to collaborating with BetMGM and are excited about the future activation opportunities this partnership will present.”

With the addition of BetMGM, NBC Sports EDGE will still “provide content highlighting the players and storylines impacting the football season on Peacock and across NBC Sports digital platforms.”

BetMGM reiterates that, as it expands into new markets, responsible gaming is still a “key focus” and is “proud to provide resources to help customers play responsibly, including GameSense, an industry-leading program, developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.”

Players can access GameSense through BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms.

All these features will be useful for both returning and new customers. It will give the brand an edge when it's expanding to other territories. With the upcoming BetMGM Ohio sportsbook launch, players will immediately get to taste these features and enjoy everything that the brand has to offer.
