Iowa vs. Michigan College Football Odds & Predictions

⭐  Best Bet: Iowa Under 6.5 Points (+100) at BetMGM

There are not enough words to describe how bad Iowa's offense is. It's truly remarkable the Hawkeyes got this far with such a bad group. Iowa is dead last in the country in yards per game (247.3) and 120th out of 133 teams in points per contest (18). There's also no passing game, with Iowa ranking 132nd in yards per pass (5.1). It seems inconceivable the Hawkeyes will be able to consistently move the ball against the Wolverines.

We're going with Iowa Under 6.5 Points (+100) at BetMGM. This is a remarkably low number for a total, but we're going to take it. Besides a turnover or special teams play, it's hard to see Iowa getting deep in Michigan territory. The Hawkeyes rank 119th in third-down conversion rate (31%) and also can't run the ball, averaging 3.5 yards per carry, ranking 109th.

Iowa has 10 wins this season and only 20 touchdowns. It also has 117 first downs in nine conference games, which is 23 fewer than anyone else and 54 fewer than an Indiana team that went 1-8 in the Big Ten. All the numbers point to the under for Iowa, despite the low total.

Best Bet: Iowa Under 6.5 Points (+100) at BetMGM

Blake Corum Over 92.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Down the stretch, Michigan has started to feed Blake Corum the ball more as the Wolverines play in more pivotal games. On the season, Corum has gained 976 yards and scored 22 touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry. We're going to look to back him against Iowa on Saturday.

We like Blake Corum Over 92.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Corum has been Michigan's lead back the last three weeks, getting 26 carries for 145 yards against Penn State before carrying it 28 times for 94 yards versus Maryland and 22 carries for 88 yards int he rivalry win over Ohio State.

Four times Corum has had at least 20 carries this season, and in three of those games he gained at least 94 yards. We expect another heavy workload for Corum, which should allow him to continue his trend of gaining at least 94 rushing yards.

Best Betting Pick: Blake Corum Over 92.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

⭐  Best Bet: Deacon Hill  Under 105.5 Passing Yards (-115) at BetMGM

Deacon Hill was thrust into the starting quarterback role on Sept. 30 when Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara went down with a knee injury. But similar to McNamara, the offensive struggles with Iowa remained with Hill at quarterback. HIll has passed for just 976 in eight games while completing only 48% of his passes and also has more interceptions (six) than touchdowns (five).

We're going with Deacon Hill  Under 105.5 Passing Yards (-115) at BetMGM. Besides Iowa having one of the worst passing offenses in the country, Michigan is one of the better teams at defending the pass. The Wolverines rank seventh in yards allowed per pass (6.1) and second in passing yards allowed per game (155.3).

Michigan is also seventh in opponents' completion percentage at 54%. We don't see a path for Hill to have a big game against Michigan. He already has three games this season where he was held under 100 passing yards, and we expect more of the same on Saturday.

Best Bet: Deacon Hill  Under 105.5 Passing Yards (-115) at BetMGM
