How to Watch Cardinals vs. Rams

  • Date: Sunday, October 15, 2023
  • Kick Off: 4:25 PM ET
  • Location: SoFi Stadium – Inglewood, CA
  • Where to Watch: FOX

After a stunning 28-16 home victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, the Cardinals have dropped two straight contests at the San Francisco 49ers 35-16 and to the Cincinnati Bengals 34-20. Last Sunday, the Cardinals also lost running back James Conner (knee) and safety Jalen Thompson (hamstring). They rank 27th in the league in points allowed (27.2 per game) and 18th in points scored (21.6), so I’m looking at the Rams to provide the best NFL player props for Week 6

Arizona allows 251.4 passing yards per game (26th in the NFL). The Rams will continue to lean on Matthew Stafford’s arm, so LA’s signal-caller will find his place among my best NFL predictions for the upcoming Sunday. Los Angeles is coming off a 23-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in which Stafford threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams are scoring 22.4 points per game (14th) while yielding 21.6 in return (16th).

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams Player Props, Anytime TD Scorer & NFL Best Bets

⭐  Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 TD Passes (-160) at FanDuel

The Cardinals have allowed eight receiving touchdowns so far this season. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Arizona is giving up the second-most fantasy points per game to the opposing quarterbacks, so I’m taking Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 TD Passes (-160) at FanDuel as my first NFL player prop. The prize is juiced, but it seems like a sure shot. Stafford averages 290.2 passing yards per game but has thrown for just five touchdowns through the first five weeks. That will change sooner rather than later, especially with Cooper Kupp back in the lineup.

Cooper Kupp Anytime TD Scorer (-105) at BetMGM

Cooper Kupp is Matthew Stafford’s favorite target. In his return from IR this past Sunday, Kupp led the Rams in targets (12), receptions (8), and receiving yards (118). He didn’t find the end zone, whereas Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell scored a touchdown apiece. As I’ve mentioned above, the Rams heavily lean on their passing game, so give me Cooper Kupp Anytime TD Scorer (-105) at BetMGM  as my second NFL pick for the Cardinals vs. Rams showdown. Another intriguing NFL player prop to take is Cooper Kupp Over 88.5 Receiving Yards (-110) at bet365.

Joshua Dobbs Over 19.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at DraftKings

With James Conner on the IR, the Cardinals’ backfield will have to rely on Keantay Ingram and Emari Demercado, though Ingram (neck) has been limited in practice over the last three days. It means that Joshua Dobbs will try to gain yards on his own whenever he can, and the Cardinals signal-caller has registered 27 carries for 142 rushing yards so far this season.

Hereof, I’m going with Joshua Dobbs Over 19.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at DraftKings. It’s one of my favorite NFL predictions for Week 6. The Rams have allowed the second-most carries (32) and rushing yards (137) to the opposing quarterbacks. Dobbs had just three carries for one yard against the Bengals last Sunday, but he’s also surpassed a 40-yard mark in three of his five starts this season.
