He has so far achieved nine touchdowns this season and just 12 days ago scored three in one game, as the Sooners defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers 59-20. Stoops also scored one in the narrow 27-24 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys before that.

Although he never got the first touchdown in those games, he scored the first in the third quarter and the first in the fourth quarter against the Mountaineers.

Arguably the toughest game to call from our college football picks today is the game involving Syracuse Orange and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. 

The two teams head into this game with a 1-6 conference record, but it is Syracuse who is boasting of a slightly better record right now.

Wake Forest is now on a four-game losing run after its 45-7 loss to Notre Dame in the last outing. Further losses to NC State, Duke and Florida State since beating Pittsburgh 21-17 in October put it in last place of the Atlantic Coast division.

The Orangemen were beaten by Georgia Tech in their last game, but Syracuse did also defeat Pittsburgh by 11 more points than Wake Forest did two weeks ago, beating them 28-13.

What also backs Syracuse to win more is how it is at home, but given the terrible form of both teams so far, it seems sensible to head for a 1-13 victory for the home outfit, leaving space for a few scorelines on Saturday.
