The Colts (6-5; 7-4 ATS) hold the final wild card in the AFC at the moment thanks to a better conference win percentage than Houston and Denver. They’ve won three games in a row, outlasting Carolina 27-13, New England 10-6, and Tampa Bay 27-20 in the process. Last week, Jonathan Taylor had 15 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns against the Buccaneers, but he won’t play against Tennessee due to a thumb injury. 

We like the Colts for our ATS NFL pick even though the Titans (4-7; 5-6 ATS) would love to play the spoiler and hurt their divisional rivals. Tennessee stopped its three-game slide in Week 12. After three straight road losses against Pittsburgh 20-16, Tampa Bay 20-6, and Jacksonville 34-14, the Titans beat Carolina 17-10 at home this past Sunday.

The Titans’ offense has struggled a lot over the last three weeks. Rookie signal-caller Will Levis hasn’t thrown for more than 199 yards in that stretch, and the Titans haven’t amassed more than 264 all-purpose yards. Their defense has allowed 128 or more rushing yards in five of the previous seven games, so we are going with the Indianapolis Colts -1.0 (-110) at BetMGM as our NFL pick today. 

Back in Week 5, Indianapolis defeated Tennessee 23-16 as a 2.5-point home underdog and snapped a five-game losing streak against the Titans. The Colts outgained the Titans 429-348 in total yards and won the turnover battle 1-0 while averaging 5.7 yards per carry. 

Indianapolis is 4-1 ATS in its last five games overall and 5-1 ATS in its last six contests versus the conference rivals. On the other side, the Titans are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 0-4-1 ATS in their previous five games played in December. Now, let’s switch our focus to the best NFL player props.

Zach Moss went bonkers in Week 5. He tortured the Titans for 165 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. We’ll add Moss to our Week 13 NFL picks, as we are expecting him to put on another strong performance against the Titans, who surrender 110.8 rushing yards per game (15^th in the league). 

Moss has done a great job so far this term, posting 141 totes for 672 yards and five touchdowns. With Jonathan Taylor on the shelf, the Colts will heavily lean on Moss, who hasn’t hit a 70-yard mark on the ground since Week 5. We continue our NFL predictions with another running back. The Colts’ run defense is fragile, too, and the Titans will look to exploit it on the back of Derrick Henry. Indianapolis ranks 26^th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (129.3 per game). The Colts have surrendered at least 125 rushing yards in each of their last five contests. 

Derrick Henry is having a disappointing season by his standards. He’s amassed 739 rushing yards and six touchdowns through 11 appearances in 2023. ⭐ NFL Player Prop #3: Matt Gay Over 7.5 Kicking Points (+105) at DraftKings 

There’s a reason why Matt Gay’s line has been set at 7.5 kicking points. The Titans own the fourth-best red-zone defense in the NFL (39.5%) which means the Colts will probably have to rely on their kicker a lot in this matchup. Back in Week 5, Gay made all of his three field goals in that seven-point victory over Tennessee. 

Gay has missed four of his 23 field-goal attempts so far this season, though three of those four misses have come from 50-plus yards. He has yet to miss an extra point in 2023 (28-for-28).
