New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins NFL Picks & Odds

⭐ My Best Bet: Mac Jones Longest Over 1.5 Passing TDs (+150) at BetMGM

This season, Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has just two multi-touchdown games—Week 1 and their most recent one against the Buffalo Bills. Against Miami in Week 2, he threw one touchdown and one interception.

This season, the Dolphins allow 1.4 touchdown passes per game, and two against the Eagles last week. At +150, we’re taking a bit of a risk here, but in their second game, we could see Jones and the Patriots play well here like they did last week against the Bills.

In addition to the 1.4 passing touchdowns per game, they allow 233 passing yards per outing, including 256 last week.

With the recent surge in play from the Patriots and this being the second game between these teams this season, Jones has a reasonable chance to pass for a couple of scores here, especially with Rhamondre Stevenson catching passes out of the backfield.

Take the over on Jones’ passing touchdowns for the first of our NFL Picks and Props in this Patriots vs. Dolphins matchup.

⭐ Kendrick Bourne Under 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at FanDuel

Over the last two weeks, Bourne has looked like the No. 1 receiver for the Patriots. He had 89 receiving yards in Week 6 and 63 last week. Here, though, we’ll bet on the under.

The Patriots will look to work Demario “Pop” Douglas back into the mix even more here and build off his 54-yard performance last week.

Douglas primarily runs out of the slot, while Bourne will match up with Xavien Howard on the right side.

Howard has allowed 46 yards or less receiving in every game this season except Week 3.

Bourne will finish close, but we’ll wage the under for this NFL Week 8 prediction as the Patriots' offense works in another receiver and could cool down after a hot streak.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: Kendrick Bourne Under 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at FanDuel

⭐ Rhamondre Stevenson’s Longest Rush Under 11.5 Yards (-115) at DraftKings

This season, Stevenson has recorded just four rushes over 10 yards on 87 carries. However, he’s managed a 15-yard and 14-yard run over the past two games.

One of his 10+ yard runs came against the Dolphins in Week 2, where he had an 11-yard run.

Over the past three weeks, he has yet to exceed ten carries, and in a game against a potent offense like the Dolphins, the run game might be seldom used.

So, if Steveson has ten carries, we’re limiting the chances of this occurring, and we won’’ bank on that.

Take the under on Stevenson's longest rush to round out our Patriots vs. Dolphins predictions
