Fubo Gaming Gets Market Access into Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri

Fubo Gaming is continuing to expand across the United States. The company announced it has secured market access agreements for its Fubo Sportsbook in Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri through Caesars Entertainment Inc.

What’s in the Fubo Access Deal

The deal will allow Fubo Sportsbook access to mobile sports betting in each state, subject to obtaining required regulatory approvals and enacting sports betting legislation in Missouri and Mississippi.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to extend our relationship with Caesars Entertainment as we expand access to Fubo Sportsbook across key markets in the U.S.,” Scott Butera, president, Fubo Gaming, said in a media release. “Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri all have passionate fan bases, particularly around college athletics, who will embrace our unique, immersive sports and wagering entertainment platform.”

This is Fubo Gaming’s second round of market access deal with Caesars. In March, Fubo Gaming gained access to New Jersey and Indiana. Fubo Gaming also has market access deals in Arizona, Iowa, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Fubo Gaming Continues to Expand

Fubo Gaming launched Fubo Sportsbook in the fourth quarter of 2021 and is currently live in Iowa and Arizona. Fubo Sportsbook aims to meet U.S. sports fans’ demand for interactivity through an industry-first integration of an owned-and-operated sports betting platform with a live TV streaming experience.

With integrating Fubo Sportsbook into fuboTV, the mobile app provides a personalized omniscreen experience that turns viewers into active participants by allowing them to place bets. Fubo Sportsbook’s proprietary feature, Watching Now, allows fuboTV’s first-party user data to engage participants by recommending relevant bets based on what they are watching, even as they change the channel.

Fubo Gaming also plans on adding more features that will further integrate betting into the fuboTV platform to create a more immersive and personalized experience.

Louisiana Live, Missouri, Mississippi Pushing to Legalize

Out of the three market access deals, Fubo Gaming is most likely to launch in Louisiana next. Online sports betting in Louisiana went live on Jan. 28, just in time for the NFL conference championships and Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, lawmakers in Missouri and Mississippi are currently pushing to legalize sports betting in their states. Legislators have introduced numerous sports betting bills in their states with the hopes of legalizing them this year.
